What's with all the negative nancys crying foul at any cgi trailer lately ? Just take it for what it is (a small entertaining PR diversion of an upcoming game), sit back and enjoy. Yeeesh.

I hope this time around they actually hired someone competent to write their story for them. D3's was cringe inducing and super cheesy. Same as SC2. This severely reduces my enjoyment of these games.

"deserve millions of dollars"

I'm gonna go with the "Are you twelve ?" line. Money isn't distributed according to who deserves it most. Everyone entering High School at the latest should know that.

In the US, perhaps. I always found it interesting that weed is illegal (for the most part) there but everyone seems so fine with it and keeps openly talking about it. That is not the norm for the rest of the world (minus the Netherlands).

...or it's a one hour mission and they play it down, hoping to not upset the potential Australian buyers...

I guess it's nice that it's possible. It's just absurd. It's like building a defect toaster from scratch. Who would do that ?

Regarding the last gif. Why would anyone build a ruin ? Kind of pointless, isn't it ?

If it effects exactly nothing what's the point of it ? Better make the default female than.

Look up the term "otaku".

Please understand.

Hope dies last, ehh ?

True. But I think that's the kind of pitfall you'll always get, being a listed corp. on the stock exchange. Gotta satisfy those shareholders. Saying "TR is probably gonna sell 2-3 million copies. That's of course not enough to offset our last quarter losses, but hey that's still pretty great, right guys ?", probably

"The worst thing with pot was, that I was okay with being bored."

"Wasn't enough" is relative. SE expressed disappointment over TR's sales numbers, that's right. They still gonna do a sequel, though.

It's from a study that found out that something around ~40-45% of all gamers are actually female. Of course it counted casual facebook games and "Angry Bird" or "Temple Run" as games so it's kinda moot if applied to AAA games...I only mentioned it because that study always gets dragged out when some kind of

"Women make up close to 50% of the hardcore gaming demographic"

1) They are not looking for some "random" dude (or gal) to quick port their games for easy cash -they are specifically looking for someone to become an asset to their team.

How the mighty have fallen

Well...considering that they are looking for someone to hire into their team for exactly that I'd say that means pretty much the exact opposite.
