I agree, but the flipside of this viewpoint leads to the train of thought that women are so greatly underrepresented in the hardcore gamer demographic because there are so few hardcore games targeted at their demographic.

True (and I actually would prefer that as well), but imo the label FPS goes more in the direction of Halo, COD or Crysis. Not Skyrim/Fallout 3...those are more in the RPG camp.

Not so sure about that. I loved the ASoIF books and reread them occasionally, always imagining all the characters in my own way. Ever since the HBO series I can't think of my old Ned, Sansa, Tyrion or Daenerys anymore. When I close my eyes they all look like the actors from the series.
A MMO ?...and a low budget one at that. Yeah, what could possibly go wrong ? Why not just make this a RPG ?
TVs, cars, phones, books etc. are sold as is. If the PS4 is explicitly sold as a console without the means to play used games than that's the advertized product. You will be free to ignore it, but you can't go buy it and later complain that it doesn't play used games.
It's still your system. A system that's not designed to play used games. Why should the manufacturer be at fault for you failure to do things with it that were not advertized as features of said product ?
