Elitist for being against piracy ? Lol, you console gamers...

I don't think MS is going for a "buy 360 and get DLC earlier", but for a "buy PS3 and be punished with constantly delayed DL content".

As has been stated already: Deponia was not made by an "indie" group, but a major German developer. Adventure games and pc gaming is still pretty big in Germany (and half of Europe). In turn, Deponia probably had a bigger budget than that Double Fine Kickstarter game.

Anno 2070 is hardly a shoddy game. The forced uPlay crap is pretty annoying, but the game itself is solid entertainment if you like these kind of games.

That is not too surprising.

I find it more upsetting that this basically means that Obsidian will never again have anything to do with the Fallout franchise. They are on pretty bad terms with Bethesda atm.

" The employees that /you/ ran into are extremely annoying, but that's usually because you're unwilling to sign up for a service that would save you money or pre-order a game that you /knew/ you were going to buy."

It was the extended cut. Creating that postponed any single-player DLC to come.

That's because they didn't. Never. In fact they were always quite clear that there *would be* single player DLC.

The effect of this DLC on the ending have already been leaked. It's only a couple of lines of additional dialogue from starbrat (you can bring up leviathan). It doesn't change any of the endings nor alter any outcome.

Me too...but of course this will come out in some form for consoles. Either full blown on next gen consoles or with dialed down visuals for current gen consoles.

Pretty much this. Also the beginning rubbed me all the wrong way with all the auto-dialoge, ham-fisted child moment and the "we-don't need any exposition let's just cut right to the action" opening.

As per Steam's blog: They received an alternative weapon.

Hmm that takes me back to the year of the horrible tsunami that wrecked japan, killed thousands of people and lead to the second worst nuclear accident in mankinds history. There were also a lot of twitter posts back then on how this was "payback for Pearl Harbor" or "gods justice".

Fingers crossed that Bioware isn't one of those douche companies that regularly sues such fan projects.

I'm not sure why all of you seem so hung up about this sentence. It's a build-up to his next sentence...you know, this one: "Three quarters of the 7.5 million jobs lost during the recession belonged to men."

I'm guessing he read "obscenity" as "obesity"

Wouldn't be interested even if they sweeten the DLC with free pot.

Ehh...not sure. This DLC along with one additional single player DLC was in the pipeline long before the whole ending debacle came to pass...and that's the reason why we will get exactly those two DLCs no matter how little they sell.

+300 War Assets.
