It's called focus group. Big film studios are known to pre-screen whole movies for selected groups of fans. If they think the movie is crap this more often than not results in re-shots, altering parts of the movie.

Some ppl calculating on reselling their new game will stop buying, more ppl normally buying a 5 bucks cheaper used copy of the game will start buying new games.
You buy the game used, you're not a customer of the guys developing the game you're playing.
I agree. TOR is a great single player game with added mmo -sometimes that aspect is fun and sometimes it severely hinders the gameflow, making me wish BW would have just made KOTOR3.
