Nick Cutter, The Troop. A troop of Scouts get stranded on an island where a mysterious ailment that makes people voraciously, insanely hungry starts to spread. It feels like a solid mix of James Herbert’s gory ‘70s novels, with a heavy dose of body horror, and a Stephen King story from the ‘80s about the end of

The little boy killing Jud in Pet Sematary freaked me the hell out as a kid. And, it's been mentioned, but the donkey boys in Pinocchio.

It was nice to see Waltz in Alita and be reminded that he can actually play a good guy.

I realize every bodybuilder-ish action star must now follow The Terminator to Kindergarten Cop trajectory but most of Arnold’s comedies sucked, too.

Violet should have won. She knew what she wanted and didn't let anyone stop her. That little marshmallow Charlie is never going to be able to run a factory.

As someone forced to watch Descendants many, many times while babysitting, I will say that he had undeniable charisma even in something that deeply silly.

Excellent news. It's a warm, funny show with a terrific cast.

The last few seasons Gunn seemed to feel kind of dispirited and sometimes hugely disconnected from the judges. I think Christian was actually an interesting replacement.

Not a slasher but Night of the Comet was also 1984 and seems like a very Ryan Murphy movie.

Watching the occasional rerun I’m really struck by how horribly all of them treat Janice, a woman who is almost unfailingly nice to them. So she’s a little clingy and has an annoying laugh. Clearly she deserves to be mocked endlessly.

Toy Story 4. Personally I’d probably rank it last among the Toy Story movies (my personal preference would be 2, 1, 3, 4) but that’s just saying that it’s very, very good instead of sublime. I like that it takes risks, focusing almost exclusively on Woody as the central character (though that significant Woody/Buzz

Molly Shannon falling to pieces during the plane episode of The Other Two broke my heart. Such a funny, unexpectedly touching show and such a fantastic cast. That last episode of Superstore was obviously a gut punch but I found the previous one almost as upsetting, with Amy and Jonah caught between what they know is

It's hard to play a character who has essentially shut himself off because he's afraid - maybe especially in a comedy where you're surrounded by intentionally big supporting performances - but I think Weber is actually pretty good in this.

Slightly off topic but how damn good was Walter in Play Misty for Me?

This seems like a really uncalled for bit of hostility against a commenter who complimented the list and expressed an opinion without in any way bashing the people making the list.

Rex, who lost the part of George Washington in the school play to Ralph.

None, because I want him to head over to DC and play the Spectre.

Hmm, these all seem like smart and reasonable choices; the Individual Achievement in Drama category is an exceptional group. But Internet law decrees that I must be upset about something so, uh, screw you, Sesame Street, and your decades of consistent excellence. You're not better than me.

Controversial winner as it dethroned long time champion Doctor Who.

Justice Ginsburg has more nominations than Aquaman. Not a critique; just an observation.
