The funniest part of the episode was the flashback to the frozen food. The Cam and Mitch stuff was fine, though I am still not sure why they added yet another kid to this show. Everything with the spiders and the cream was tired and unfunny.

This may be the first time ever that “not enough characters” has been mentioned in connection with Game of Thrones.

I liked the visuals, Cumberbatch and Benedict Wong were nice pieces of casting, but the story and especially the villain felt a little lackluster. Rachel McAdams, who is a good actress, might win the Most Underused Marvel Love Interest Award or at least tie with Natalie Portman. I hope the second one can build on the

Patrick Wilson looks like the real life version of Aquaman from Super Friends.

Gifford has merged with the Kristen Wiig impression of her in my mind to the point that I'm always slightly surprised when she seems slightly more human.

That song would be so much more interesting if it were about the Biblical Delilah.

I will freely admit I was probably not the target audience for Samson but wow was it inept. Trying to make a Biblical epic with no budget and a lead who might look the part but just can't act was a bad idea. The action is confusingly edited, the only character with any nuance is Delilah (which was admittedly a nice

What I remember from the Edwards movie (which I quite liked) are the visuals: the battleship shot discussed above, that incredible jump into San Francisco, the haunting night visuals on the train tracks, that first full shot of Godzilla, some of the camerawork in the abandoned town.  What I have no real memory of is

They also killed Juliette Binoche, one of the great living screen actresses, after like eight lines of dialogue.  They made some strange choices.

Yes, the supershadowy monster studying organization Monarch that first appeared in the 2014 Godzilla and showed back up in Skull Island is apparently the focus in this one. There was also a tag at the end of Skull Island showing that they knew of the existence of all of the monsters that show up in this trailer.  How

Those are all good actresses and as such will almost certainly be wasted by the DC movie universe. Talk to Amy Adams, Diane Lane, or Viola Davis.

I found this funny in concept but kind of horrifying in execution. GolMay will kill everyone.

My personal number one would be Barry, which managed to both make me laugh very hard and made me an emotional wreck (I can’t get that scene in the car with his military buddy out of my head). One Day at a Time continues to be a shining example of a very old school sitcom format while The Good Place is like nothing

Sadly, the Nakatomi Plaza wedding cake does not return.

I mean, probably the defining moment of the first revival season is that broody bastard Nine ecstatic because just this once everybody lives. That's who the Doctor is - the person who wants to save everyone.

The Simpsons has probably created more memorable supporting characters than any other comedy in TV history. I would have a hard time picking my favorite (is it Mr. Burns? Skinner? Sideshow Bob? Edna? Flanders?). I can tell you which one I hate most: Gil. How I hate Gil. That whiny, sniveling, pathetic, one joke

Which makes it seem like a weirdly apt punishment for a false god.

I would personally put Bill a bit higher - I think she was in many ways an ideal match for Capaldi’s Doctor - but I have really grown fond of Graham.

Yeah, I am also really unclear on what exactly he’s hoping to accomplish other than generic revenge in the form of planetary genocide or why it took so long with beings who seem unimaginably powerful. That’s not necessarily a bad thing (the Pandorica or “stolen Earth” or River Song timecrash finales also seemed like

Bubble wrap returns for its revenge.
