UnReal has become one of the all time great arguments for doing one season and calling it quits. This season has been nowhere near as bumpy or just plain bad as long stretches of the second season but it’s become increasingly obvious that the first season was an anomaly in terms of focus and quality. Somebody should

The show’s version of New Orleans really did look terrific. Their Armstrong didn’t have quite the gruff lovable quality of the real Armstrong but that’s a tough voice to nail.

I believe he said Cujo is the one he doesn’t remember writing (and Cujo is actually a pretty good book).

I’ve never instantly gone from a screaming argument with someone to kissing them passionately. I’ve also never understood why that would be romantic instead of deeply messed up (see also the slap/slap/kiss cliche).

Selina, pick a damn side. I’d go with the nice billionaire who genuinely likes you as a person, not the semi-partners who constantly patronize you and get you into disasters. Oswald, he’s never going to love you - give up. Jim, maybe trying thinking with your brain and not your nether regions when it comes to Lee.

Why do all of the adults in Gotham make decisions like horny teenagers? At least Bruce and Selina have an excuse.

Yeah, I liked the tshirt and jeans look.

The Devil isn’t much of a game designer. Probably spent too much time on Dungeons & Dragons and heavy metal.

I’ll go with movies I know I’ve seen more than 20 times each: The Adventures of Robin Hood, Young Frankenstein, Clueless, Carpenter’s The Thing.

Would Glenn and Jerusha really have a gender reveal party? That doesn’t seem like something they would do. On the other hand, Amy’s awful awards show party was one of the highlights of the season so go right ahead, Superstore.

It seems to require a moderator/staff approval or certain followers. I stayed in the gray quite awhile myself. It’s just part of the joy of Kinja.

It’s part of an overall dislike of the costume redesign they did for the New 52 where his costume looks more and more like either armor or a super-rigid onesie. An armored Superman seems inherently wrong for the character to me. The red briefs are also borrowed from what seems to have inspired the original look of the

This double posted again. That’s the fourth time that’s happened to me on here today.

I would mock this but I got in a near-screaming argument the other day about the importance of Superman’s red briefs returning to the costume so I have no room to mock.

Mary and Percy’s relationship was nothing if not soap operatic - I mean, he ran away with her to the continent while she was only a teenager and he was still married and he may well have had romantic entanglements with other members of her family -so I look forward to some serious melodrama.

Double posted for some reason . . . Oh well, Kinja.

I’m trying to remember exactly how the Shelley/Lovelace connection goes. Shelley’s stepsister was the mother of Lovelace’s half-sister. Is that right? Lovelace would certainly make an interesting series in her own right.

I am tempted to say Miles Teller but for all of his faults I don’t think he’s actively trying to destroy our democracy.

I enjoyed Schumer in Trainwreck but playing a meek wallflower at the beginning seems well outside her comic persona.

It’s so bad. They could have steered into camp or cheese or nostalgia or almost anything but what they steered into was kind of processed meh.
