I mean, if *my* app was making a million bucks a day, I certainly wouldn’t change that system. Demand for micro transactions and their ilk has existed since the very, very early days of MMOs and online gaming, corporations have just learned to capitalize on the supply curve. I was selling Flowing Black Silk sashes at

Has Pratt actually done anything… bad? Like I feel like Elliot Page just went off on the guy for going to church and a whole bunch of people said ok screw this guy because Elliot said so

I mean, maybe he doesn’t have as big a hand in recent years but he’s not innocent of Family Guy’s sins. If he wanted out of FG, he could do it, and if he disliked the show’s direction, he could take a more active hand, and he doesn’t. He still does all the voices and takes the money.

No idea. People really seem to hate him, but I can’t think of a single scandal he’s been a part of that would generate that amount of hate. Like you said, he hasn’t been a writer for Family guy in a long time (2011 IIRC), and even if you simply despise the show as a whole, that doesn’t mean you need to hate it’s

I have never understood some people’s extreme dislike for this guy. He had nothing to do with Family Guy turning into a pile of bigoted, unfunny dogshit.

Ah yes, the opposite of “waste not”. Why keep a perfectly good thing and just freshen it up when you can chuck it in a fucking landfill for no reason?

sit down, kanye.

How is this related to DJ Khalid?

Well, until you have an idea for what that “something is” — and I’m not hearing one — I’ll keep voting.  For all it’s flaws, voting is also at least an attempt at identifying what people collectively want, which is important when you’re . . . you know . . . . using government’s coercive power to force them to do

Expressing contempt for the voting choices most black people made is an interesting way to demonstrate you care about them, but whatever.

I’m sure black voters, who largely backed Biden, would be interested to learn that they’re “unaware of how actual people are affected by the cruel class striations of society.”

Dehumanizing people because of their innate physical attributes is wrong.

I’m 5'4'’, why when anyone makes fun of anyone’s body for any reason it’s awful but when it’s height, which I can’t control, it’s hilarious?

I’m 6'2" and I have no issues with her being fired.

Im 180cm tall, but i still do not like such comments. Where do you draw a line? It telling girls to get a breast implants ok? Is it ok to tell dark-skinned people to bleach their skin? Is it okay to tell homosexuals to go to “conversion therapy”? In my opinion none of those are okay.

I’m 6' and I don’t have any problem with her being fired. I can’t pretend to comprehend the cultural implications of the slang she used, but you can say “I prefer tall men” without saying “Short men aren’t humans and should have surgery to fix their defect”. Replace tall/short with any other immutable identifier about

Would you react the same way if she’d said “fat people have no rights, they should all get bariatric surgery”?

Good grief you only seem to comment to say how much you hate the site.

Non-book reader here, and this was definitely the best episode so far to me as well, felt like it was shedding some of that fantasy nostalgia cheesiness, which made sense narratively in the first episodes, and is becoming something of its own.
