I’ve always enjoyed the movie and watched it recently with both friends who had never been fans and their kids. It held up, thankfully. Of course it’s about selling toys, but the story’s pretty rich for a children’s cartoon.

The more recent movies have clearly tried to move away from Bay’s “random metal shit” pastiche, thankfully.

Sure, I’m certain he definitely didn’t have sex with her until she turned 18. He was just giving her drugs and alcohol and flying her places and physically abusing her from the time that she was a preteen onward for nothing sexual at all.

They cancelled a nearly-complete Batgirl movie for no reason, but for some reason Ezra Miller’s Flash is still on the books after he groomed, abducted, and raped a minor. 

On the positive side, James Corden will be going away!

All I've been hearing from my nerdy bank of Star Wars friends is the opposite. This is the first season of The Mandalorian where the episodes between the premiere and finale have felt really essential to the tale. It's been my favorite season so far.

I think we can acknowledge that this was weird and inappropriate without trying to create shock value by labeling it sexual assault. This was not sexual in nature.

I never really understood the hype around Majors. Having been told time and again that he’s the best thing since sliced bread, I’m feeling for all of the folks who are realizing he’s just a dude, and probably a bad one at that.
