That’s the one thing I can’t wrap my mind around: How did George Floyd’s murder become the catalyst? For black people, the answer’s simple? We’ve just had enough.
I can’t help but feel like the emphasis is on the wrong “duh” here.

How is someone’s credibility irrelevant in a situation that hangs entirely on their credibility?
Let’s put it this way. Would you want to be inside Donald Trump?
“Pretty but hollow” is basically the Ryan Murphy trademark at this point. I’m not entirely sure why we’re surprised.
You’re being dishonest. She made it clear that the nature of her allegations against Biden had nothing to do with sexual assault the first time around.
So you’re saying that she mustered up the bravery to come forward about her experiences, but really wanted to bury the lede?
“I’m here to talk about my terrible experiences with papercuts.”
Six months later:
“Also, I had a gunshot wound.”
Come on, man. Reade was publicly supportive of Biden until it became clear that he…
In her interview with the Union.
Do I believe the Tara Reade who claimed Biden sexually assaulted her, or the one who claimed that nothing sexual ever happened between them?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
100% agreed. I run a couple of groups, and every party I’ve ever had has been super positive about my DMing... except for one. It was the wrong group of people and I got so exhausted by DMing for them that, when they came at me with their latest round of demands, I finally walked. I’ll miss the story, but I won’t miss…
I’m always vaguely shocked that people like FFIX. It was the first title that I just couldn’t get through because it’s so goofy. The complexity of the characters is a major backslide from some of the best parts of VII and VIII, and it has all of VIII’s plot weirdness without the redeeming value of a fashion plate male…

With apologies to the other user, Ivy League a cappella is where it’s at.
I think maybe the reason I enjoyed The Batman Who Laughs so much is that I’m not a DC reader. It felt like a shocking change of pace from Marvel’s general optimism, and that might have been what I found engrossing about it.
I actually found the Batman Who Laughs to be a wonderfully interesting (if depressing) character. He’s too rich of a story mine for the writers to throw him away so quickly, and his story is heart-rendingly tragic.
It turns out that Superman’s only weakness is his own stupidity.
I’ll probably take a drubbing for this, but I think Big Mouth had this pretty close to correct. As a gay man, I obviously can’t speak to other gay men’s proclivities, but I’m not into the equipment of transmen.
