I always thought it was a decent game as well. Haters gonna hate.

But without the "i" in front, how will I know not to buy it?
Not defending BB for milking the series — just noting that these things always get milked, so the effort spent making all those sprites is justified when the sprites are going to be used and resold for inclusion in ten versions of the same game. They don't only have one chance to recoup costs.
Yeah — I feel the effort would have been worth it. It's not like the game wasn't destined to make boatloads of money (especially once Capcom does its usual trick of milking this game through 10 years of updates and reissues until MvC4 comes out in 2021).
That's definitely true. I really would have liked to see that style carried over into beautiful HD sprites, rather than the more generic 3D models used in MVC3. It's a fun game, but it feels lacking in spirit.
Yay. Another piracy thread where people on both sides of the issue completely make shit up to support their case.
Nice, sharp artwork — it's hard to knock the quality of it. But I really do wish they had kept the gorgeous art style from MvC2.
Figures that Commie would have spent time on the Red Planet.
Well played, Sam. I had my doubts going in, but this was pretty sharp.
Huh? The smoke trail that is being left by the car itself is visible in front of the track. It's like a plane flying behind a building, but seeing its contrails in front of the building.
Definitely fake. At 1:14 you can see the smoke trails appear in front of the track wall despite the fact that the cars are behind it.
Doubt it. His head isn't nearly big enough.
You read my mind.
It's cool that he did that and all, but let's be honest...
This sounds like a lot (and it is), but I'm sure there are also many billions of dollars in unused *gifts* as well. Shirts that never get worn, DVDs that never get watched, etc...
"Earbuds should never run you more than $30-$40 for a really good pair."
You're right on about Skyward Sword. It's decent at times, but the hype surrounding it is absolutely absurd. And reviewers just lined up to talk about how innovative and clever it is so that they wouldn't look like the odd man out for pointing out that it wasn't very innovative or clever at all.
Uncharted 3 was an average game with amazing production values. Had any other game with those kinds of fussy controls and frustrating combat come out in 2011, it would have been panned across the board.
Nice ;)
