William Safire (a GOP speechwriter who worked for VP Agnew) called Barr “the Cover-Up General” back when Barr had his first go at AG.

Holy shit Barr just admitted that he didn’t read all the underlying evidence.

He was hired largely in part because last June he auditioned for the job by submitting a twenty page paper to the DoJ on how the FBI was over reaching, Mike Flynn should be freed and Trump can’t obstruct justice by default.

Every Dem, from now until Nov 2020 (and after as well), needs to label Republicans broadly, and Trump specifically, as corrupt.

Barr couldn’t even bring himself to say under Sen. Hirono’s questioning that Trump asking White House Counsel to prepare false documents is wrong (much less a crime).
