Okay, so... CDPR is currently dealing with hackers stealing the source code to both Cyperpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3, who are effectively holding them ransom, and CDPR decided to... launch a Kickstarter campaign for a deck-building boardgame.
Can you imagine if the team behind Octopath Traveler was given free reign to reimagine FF VI? I can, and it makes me cry that they haven’t been given the opportunity to do so.

Yeah, this went from "possible early adopter" to "I'm gonna wait until something noteworthy comes out in a year or two." I'm not surprised that full BC isn't happening, but the fact that Sony's approach to it is via a half-assed streaming service with bad input latency remains disheartening.
