I liked that the commentators mentioned Kendrick was a trainer and that his insight gained from that could give him an edge.

You got rid of Madvillain? YOU MONSTER
He's gotta do the "ONE MAN BRAND" thing, right? He's just gotta!
He has become completely insufferable really fast. I'm sick of his constant pandering, especially since his mission statement of being all about real wrestling and underutilised talent has been proven completely false with Smackdown's nonsense picks in the draft. Plus all that crap about him deserving to run the…
A few inexperienced guys are really demonstrating the importance of selling by heavily telegraphing their opponents moves, but aside from that, I've loved watching all these unknown (to me) guys getting to show their stuff. Some good matches so far but I suspect round two onwards could have some real barn-burners.
He was great shrinking terrified into the corner immediately after giving his "I've really got a chance" speech.
Yeah, all these people complaining about the return of squash matches seem to be forgetting about how terrible and pointless WWE's "50/50" booking has been in recent years. Somebody's gotta lose! You want it to be Nameless Jobber or Zack Ryder?
Yeah, a "one-off" but I'd be very surprised if she doesn't move up after Takeover. There's no reason to keep her down there any longer.
He'll probably be relieved that he no longer has to shill for the worst wrestler on the roster? I mean, his commentary was the best thing about Eva's matches on NXT, but that's not saying much.
BLISS, BABY!
Ryback?
I don't know where this idea that Cena's "on his way out" comes from. This is an industry in which Ric Flair, currently aged 67, retired from the ring four years ago. Cena's in great shape and as popular and valuable to the company as ever.
I really hope they can make the best of it! It's just a bit sad that the draft number is meant to be an indication of their worth to the company. Being picked after the Shining Stars puts them pretty far down the list in Vince's eyes.
If Bayley's going to tag with Sasha at Battleground, it presumably means they're going to go with an angle of mutual respect after their epic Takeover battles, which makes sense given that Banks is a face now. So Bayley doen't need to be pushed into the feud beyond this one match - she could start something with…
Bliss is my girl though. I called it!
The Vaudevillains drafted 22 places below the Golden Truth… 12 places below The Ascension… 1 place below the Shining Stars.
I mean, I agree with you that Bayley's absence is a surpise, but Cena is one of the oldest dudes on the roster and he's obviously the biggest with little kids. I don't think the age thing plays into it (except in the shitty way that women performers in WWE will always have shorter careers than men because of looks).
Exactly. Total nonsense from a kayfabe perspective, and hard to fathom in Bayley's case no matter how you look at it. Is she going to be Sasha's mystery partner at Battleground? Because if not, what are they doing?
I keep saying Alicia Fox is underrated. She's been lumped in with the Bellas era of shitty two-minute matches but she's a decent worker with an amazing northern lights suplex.
