Fantastic article! Thanks
Fantastic article! Thanks
I´m pretty sure the current model was available with AWD in Japan
We had a 2.4 manual in the family back then, great car. I remember that the ads from the time said that it was faster and better than the MB 190E 2.3, plus more realiable. I may have that ad somewhere...
Nissan and Renault DO share engines/transmission!
Yes, it is an underpowered car, BUT, 22cms of ground clearence, AWD, 225 width tires, seats and 4 comfortably for a couple of days out of town with this consumption WHILE keeping an absolutely legal speed on the highway, looks pretty good to me.
You just want what you can´t have. This truck is widely common in Chile, and it´s uncomfortable, unrefined, expensive, not very reliable (common DPF problems).
I love my E46 325Ci
I concur
Great drive, lot´s of envy.
Lovely comment about Jos
It was for some time one of Chile´s presidential cars. I´m not joking:
I know a guy with an A8 W12. Took it to the dealer for oil change. Technician left the plug hole with the wrong torque. Result? Expensive italian tiles from the owner garage needed to be replace.
Fantastic article Raphael. I wonder what the guy from BMW in charge of email answering face looked like...
Did the timing belt went out while you where driving it?
Love the E39, someday I´ll have one, the sooner the better. The time of analog BMW is gone.
I once told a guy doing that to a NEW BLACK car while I was in the queue, “don´t do that!”. He gave me a look like saying “what´s wrong with this lunatic”. From that day, I don´t talk to people anymore while washing my car.
I´ve always wondered what’s with those two long screws at the rear suspension on some Mazda. I know that the 3 has them, not sure about the 6. Doesn´t look good...
What´s the big deal about the 5-spd auto? Works good, reliable, keeps the revs low at highway speed. The 6-spd auto from the new LC Prado doesn´t really get too good reviews in Europe, apparently to much torque converter slippage. At least with the 2.8 TD
I once heard one slowly coming out from a traffic light. I thought for a second I was on a F1 circuit. Fucking amazing.
