My parents bought me a cashmere blend sweater from there in the early 2000s (like, 2001 or so), and I had that thing until about 2008, when it FINALLY stopped wearing so well, and I had gained enough weight it wasn’t fitting.

NO THERE ISN’T ALL THE LAYERS ALL OF THEM ALL OF THE TIME.

...... JENNA LYONS IS PERFECT HOW DAMN DARE YOU THE STYLING IS AMAZING I WANT TO LOOK LIKE ALL OF THEM

You just said exactly what I came in here to say. To me, the coats and the pants are still going pretty strong. But you hit the nail on the head with “not cool enough but too weird for the office.” Fabrics and cut are still nicer than most though, for the price, IMO. Especially since you can just keep your eye on

Please,

I know whenever I shop at J Crew in the back of my mind I’m always like “How will I look in this when I’m on the yacht?”

I’m not sure if it’s because people are poor, per se, but because no matter how much J.Crew wants to paint itself as a high end brand, it isn’t. And people aren’t willing to pay $450 for a sweater from a ‘suburban mall brand’ when if they were in the market for that, they’d head over to a designer boutique or Neiman’s.

I agree, but I mean coming from any GawkerMedia entity. . .

Something tells me I'm going to get some weird looks when I ask to see the "plus sized mechanic" later when I go get my oil changed.

Men are raised to believe that their boner really, really matters.

Crystal Pepsi made it possible to smuggle Zima into high school though...

Everything about this

two kittens are definitely cuter than two headed kittens. but this guy is actually pretty sweet looking too.

I seriously don’t get the spite-buy return to a different store bullshit. Like, I’m 100% with her on the shitty attitude of the sales person. But wouldn’t the better spite buy be the go to a different store and get better service and spend all your money there? You hurt the other store, you gave your money to a bad

NONE OF THESE PETS LOOK ANYTHING LIKE CELEBRITIES AND I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE

remember when E got blown up in The Notebook?

I am a little worried about Sam Waterston. I will quit my job to be his caretaker.
