This happened to me a few months ago. Ate a couple of jalapeño poppers with a friend of mine - she was dying and crying from the heat, and I was just thinking "this isn't hot at all - not even a tingle!". It was really weird. And then the next day I ate something with hot sauce - again, nothing.
I'm pretty sure the difference is the vinegar content in ketchup/catsup. Tomato sauce is more tomatoey, less vinegary!
My glasses are "men's" glasses - the salesman even tried to steer me clear of the "men's" selection of frames. I just laughed at him, wrote down the model number of my "men's" Ralph Laurens and bought them online for half the price.
Pads and tampons actually became tax-free in Australia a couple of years ago!
It's actually Ben Whishaw who is gay and gay-married.
As far as I'm aware, many aboriginal people do refer to themselves as "black", although most whites probably would not. Saying that, I did hear a lady in Collingwood the other day refer to a fellow train passenger as a "black c%#t" :/
Whoo! This is totally my tip! Do I get a reward, like not being grey anymore? :winky face:
$179 seems like a huge bargain when you think of how long it must have taken to create this thing!
I agree! I have met so many awesome people through volunteering. First, you have a shared interest, then after working together, a shared experience. It's a great place to meet friends, and probably boyfriends too :)
That's exactly why I didn't think they would name it George - it's just not modern. I thought they would go with Alexander, Louis or James as a name - still classic, but modern. Yuks.
I was just wondering yesterday when the new season was to start - this is such a bummer! I love quirky small-town dramadies, and was really looking forward to new episodes. Oh well, at least there is Parks & Rec to look forward to...
Australia these days is probably more like 70-80% white, but it's hard to tell because our census doesn't have a question about race except when it asks if you are an indiginous person.
Aren't baseball players referred to as "boys of summer"? I always took it to mean he'll still love her after the baseball season is over, through autumn, winter and beyond. Hmm...
As a vegan, I can confirm that breast milk is, indeed, considered vegan...semen too!
Half the reason shelters are so full is because of people like you who think animals are disposable when you get bored of thm, or aren't as cute as they were when they were a baby. How about you a.) invest in some dog training or if you're broke invest in some Google to help your dog learn not to bite and b.) DON'T…
Wtf...sorry to be harsh, but why on earth are you letting your dog get so close to people if he is a known biter? Okay, your houseguest let him out. I would recommend trying to be more careful about not letting him out un-leashed and maybe looking into some training for him instead of your first thought being killing…
I've been to San Fran a few times...can recommend getting an Ike's sandwich and taking it to Dolores Park to people watch and eat that amazing sandwich!
If you can afford it and it's available in your area, get a fruit/veg box delivered. We get ours delivered fortnightly and hardly even let anything go to waste. Most of the produce is as seasonal and local as possible and forces us to make more interesting foods!
Haha, yes I have got a kitty-pod! I'd gone to the shelter originally wanting to get an older cat, but then I picked up the four month-old kitty pod and he started purring and gong crazy trying to chomp on my arm and I fell in love.
