That’s the first thing that jumped out at me. Talk about missing the point. The Kent State Massacre (not to be confused with the Bowling Green Massacre) was not a tragedy because the students couldn’t defend themselves against the US military.

Yeah if that had happened, I’m sure the GOP would have totally praised a bunch liberal anti war protesters for exercising their 2A rights and defending themselves from tyranny by shooting, and probably killing, US Army soldiers.

Now that I graduated from @KentState, I can finally arm myself on campus. I should have been able to do so as a student- especially since 4 unarmed students were shot and killed by the government on this campus. #CampusCarryNow
