@Killjoy: I use my Pre to log into my work's Outlook web access page if I loose or forget my BB. With the full implementation of Flash and GPU acceleration added in the last two week, the browser has gone from usable to preferred.

I would like to point out another part of the Nexus that clearly fails. The trackball is yesteryear tech that failed on a large portion of Blackberry devices. Rim has learned from this and is now replacing the Bold 9000 with 9700 and a trackpad. The Nexis uses the exact same assembly that BB failed with.

@AndroidFan: Give it time. I am only mentioning the limit as having 16000 apps doesnt matter if there is a limit to how many you can load. The pre just recently got a fix for this.

@NyC88Rican: I have an email from Deiter Bohn of Precentral warning of updates to come to the whole homebrew community. You can remove all of the patches at once with the preware removal tool (emergency patch recovery)

@bthoefer: No dissagreement. I would much rather have the Google version but I am not a heavy Nav user. If I am lost, I pull up Gmaps anyway.

@Killjoy: easy as any. The whole os is skinable with preware and the patches applies via the application over the air. There is no reason to have a custom flash of the OS when you get to pick and choose all of the patches you want.

I find a few things that really bother me. If you are looking at a smartphone and you go buy one because of this chart, you are an idiot and deserve the glitchy, limited OS you get.

@Odin: I have owned the Android products and I think they are crap. I wont do it again. I am a telecom analyst working primarily with the Blackberry OS and have experience with Winmo and apple phones. My Pre, by far blows all of these out of the water. They list the android devices as multi tasking. every android

ROSE!!!!!

@DaveyNC: I hear they can be riddled with virus's. Make sure to install the Trojan first.

My brother recently committed suicide and his Facebook account is the only way to talk with him and have his friends share stories so his daughter can read them. She is under 10 and doesnt understand the gravity of the situation but I think it is paramount that his communications be preserved for her to see who he

@Benguin: You sir, have not met my father in law.

Ridiculous that something that is on another device demoed on an Iphone makes for a breakthrough. Go buy a Palm if you want true multi- tasking. You can hope apple figures it out or you can go with a company that did figure it out and did a darn good job at it.
