Not quite onboard the 924S pick. Great car, but my 87' 944S has 41 additional HP that more than overcomes the aerodynamic and weight advantage of the 924. Not to mention box fenders and a much improved interior.

My ‘75 914 1.8 could fit 3 people easily in the front due to a flush center armrest. My next 914 was a ‘73 2.0 with the center gauge console that made that a bit more difficult.
