Oh you’re way more cranky than I am. Don’t think your excessively snarky response to a throwaway comment on a subject of no particular social importance is any less cliched than the behavior of which you’re accusing me. I mean, at any point you could’ve said to yourself, “he made a dumb comment,” and just moved on

So then I was “unfunny,” not a sanctimonious twat. You seem like a peach.

So, how long have you been practicing?

Unhinged, but with a real gift for the written word.

This post needs more love.

same here!

Legit question - what’s the best way to end it? I always sucked at that, whether the relationship was casual or not. But I’m especially curious as to how to end something that was casual.

Well, I guess “chilling out and gaining some perspective” wouldn’t be the point of going to music festivals. I’ve been, it was a joke. Chill out.

Because you keep waiting for it to latch on to one of those legitimately intriguing aspects and run with it. Same boat here.

So, not a bad seat in the house unless you were there for the bulk of the events the arena actually hosted?

C’mon, this shouldn’t just be a nerd thing - if you’re going to make a “pithy” “pop culture” reference, you need to really commit to it.

Brendan Byrne and US Air? Arenas that don’t exist/host hockey any more?

Ban all swim teams!

Yea, the “Adequate Man” articles have been a little weird lately. The brunch article was the same, like pieces geared towards early 20’s whoo girls.

Is there any point to going to a music festival other than ingesting questionable substances and engaging in questionable sexual acts with questionable people?

"Imagine sharing a world with that. If he pays attention to you, all your embarrassing secrets are laid bare to him in an instant. And if you're not superhuman yourself, there's not really a lot you can do to stop him if he goes mad or turns into a tyrant."

I think my problem here is that it's very rare I wake up after drinking/hungover anymore. I'm old.

I find them charming.
