Came to post this, glad you got to it first.

It is a great and relaxing rally game (relaxing and rally normally would not inhabit the same sentence).

God I hope this was intentional ;)

Boxer and flat both refer to flat horizontally opposed engines, commonly 4 and 6 cylinder from companies like Subaru, VW, Porsche, but also 2 and 4 cylinder motorcycle motors from BMW and others.

I continue to be a firm believer that any car in good mechanical condition, especially one that is also cosmetically in such good shape, is automatically worth $3k or more. I held this stance 15 years ago, and with used cars fetching such a premium now, I think $3k for this one is a great find.

Hell, 80 horsepower is more than enough on most bikes to get yourself into trouble with.

An out of warranty Range Rover and first generation Audi All-Road.

When swapping doors with your Bronco buddies, please remember to swap the key cores as well. Nobody wants two or four doors that each need a different key,

I was against the “angry Bronco shoulders” until you made the Gwar comment, now I am all-in.

Yep, HDPE would be a little on the heavy side, but a cheap durable material to make some off-road fenders with.

Less than 35% of the world population lives in a country where they drive on the left side of the road. Of that 35%, it is safe to assume only a VERY small percentage of those people have the means or desire to drive a Jeep that is probably not even locally marketed and distributed in their countries.

Exactly. A electric motor (or two?) in the rear either at the diff or in the hubs leaves the entire transmission/driveshaft tunnel open, as well as under the hood to space batteries out for optimal weight distribution. They can consolidate them up front or space them, out across the vehicle for better balance. Just

Never liked the body styling on the C6 or C7, and since it will mostly be stationary in my driveway or in DC traffic, looks matter more to me at this point ;)

If I could grab one for under $30k with rebates, it would almost tempt me to get rid of my 2015 Tacoma.

Plus, the C8 is just gorgeous (for a GM). The C7 looked like a hot-wheels car targeting my 12 year old son, but the C8 looks right at home parked next to some of the top supercars in the world.

Corvettes, love them or hate them, have always had great value as a sports car. The amount of performance per dollar is hard to match.

I used to drive its twin, a 95 Cougar XR7, and the interior, while easily squeezing 4 flexible teenagers into, was pretty cramped. My fat ass would never fit in the back seat at this point in my life.

I believe the horrible bumpers on the MGB were US spec only, in the UK they looked much better.

The Beetle was arguably the one retro vehicle that came out that is the exception. It was a solid vehicle (just a Golf with a new body), and attracted a lot of buyers to Volkswagen. In reality, it has aged well, not better or worse then when it released, just a decent design.

Hideous, but I love it anyway ;)
