Meh, not quite. Pretty sure the Maxima had a ton more leg room in any variation.
Yep.
I wouldn’t quite say the R33 is my absolute favorite, but I never understood any of the so-called hate directed at them. I was always more of an R32 fan.
Glad you said it, I though I was going to have to be that guy!
Bravo.
By the way, I’m not saying it is a bad car. Hell, I seriously considered one a few years back, I am just saying I think they are still overcharging.
Agreed, that price is asinine. Even at 0% APR, the price should be discounted further for a car that is effectively 3 years old at this point.
So, you bought a 3 year old (I realize it is a “new” 3 year old) TDI for only $5k less than sticker? That is some bullshit. I bought a brand new 2012 GLI in 2012 for $4k under sticker price at 0% AND that was before VW’s name had been dragged through the mud with Diesel-Gate.
Sadly, the bottom of a junkyard is where most of them belong by now. To say they were not bulit to last is an understatement.
First off, bravo for that reference. My wife and I watch both Major League and Major League 2 this weekend and this was one of the first things I though of :)
$800 is what a good one will get you right now for trade in value. around $1,700 for private sale.
Private party sale, that car is worth south of $2k right now according to KBB. Throwing in the surprisingly well done body work, hideous yet cool leather seats, and pretty low mileage for a car that is rapidly approaching 20 years old, I’d be willing to double that value because none of the mods look like they would…
OMG! I forgot about the carburetors!
I wish them all the best, and hope they along with every other upstart electric car company succeeds, but this “production” run is pretty meaningless.
That is the car, since it is electric they gave it sirens to alert spectators and crews that it is coming up the hill.
The extra RPM should be negligable. Just enough to keep the coolant flowing at a good clip, but not enough that you are straining the engine much more than at idle. You can hear the difference in most cars.
This used to be pretty standard practice back in the day. I remember as a teenager driving around in the dead of summer with the heat blasting hoping the needle wouldn’t get to the red before I got my hoopty home.
I am still freaking out about the demise of the “three-on-the-tree”, not sure I can handle anything else right now.
11/10, would hoon.
