True, because when you are that dumb everything can be delicious
Not surprising.
They must have not been popular in my area, all the cop cars I still see are either even older Impalas, or newer Chargers and Explorers. That gen Caprise never seemed to get much of a foothold around here.
I found it to be the nicest yet most forgettable car I have ever driven. It was the fully version with all the checkboxes ticked. drove fantastic, had good power, and was super quiet and comfortable. I was spoiled by it.
I actually found my dads car some years ago in a buy here/pay here style used car lot.
They did, and it was pretty cool. My dad was very impressed on how much different each of the settings were at the time. It also would talk to you obnoxiously like all other cars in the late 80's and early 90's telling you the door was ajar and to fasten your seat belt.
To be fair, Apple doesn’t price gouge, other manufacturers subsidizes their products by selling your information and infringing on your privacy in order to lower your initial purchase.
That dealer can respectfully go fuck itself with a cactus.
My dad bought a first gen GT (the only Probe that mattered) new in ‘88. It was a fully loaded 89 Probe GT in champagne gold with red interior. It was a mean little bastard. With only about 150hp, it was much quicker than one would expect. It also had some of the worst torque steer that 80's and 90's front wheel drive…
Yes, yes, and yes.
That crash made me cry :(
I had a Highlander as a loaner car when my Tacoma was in the shop, and loved everything about it. Had my kids sit in the third row and they had just as much room as they do in my wife’s Ford Freestyle’s third row.
Problem is, they are all “cheap” and it is impossible to tell the difference between a $400 mattress and a $4,000 mattress.

Wierd, I found the Casper to be a lot more firm than I expected, and that was after coming from a cheap but extra firm King Coil. I’ve had my Casper for about 4 years now, and have been pretty happy with it.

And I thank you for any mentions of Max Headroom. That sure brings me back.
Very true. Even econo-boxes have HP numbers and performance specs that obliterate many (most) of the classic American muscle cars of the late 60's and early 70's.
Another MR2 of course?
I always liked to compare my trusty old Triumph Tiger to Smart cars.
