Ah, I didn’t realize you were at the event and have a perfect eyewitness account. Thanks for the info.

Robert Del Naja is definitely involved and almost certainly the lead guy. That’s long been the leading theory.

You know how there’s a kid in high school that draws a cartoon of Bugs Bunny suckling from the teet of a cow, and the cow has a dollar sign on it, and then the kid is like, “MY ART IS SOCIAL COMMENTARY!”

That’s basically Banksy. It’s very surface level social commentary that feels more like the graffiti equivalent of a

Gorillaz is not Blur. Anything without Graham Coxon is not Blur, and as far as I know, Mr. Coxon has never played on a Gorillaz record. Gorillaz is Damon Albarn and friends.

This reminds me of the time when we all found out that Gorillaz was just Blur. Conclusion: all ~secret art~ is just British musicians in tight blazers.

Or he was cleverly disguised in a literally any English dude costume.

Oh great. Here comes all the hate and criticism despite the fact that Banksy has always produced pretty thoughtful and often social justice oriented free art.

There is seeing something as unusual, and there’s identifying something as problematic. Eating natto is something most would see as a cultural difference. To most outside Japan natto is a weird dish that smells funny and tastes disgusting. But eating natto isn’t problematic, he’ll it’s healthy.

Yeah, basically like the guy from Coldplay.

So.....he looks exactly like everyone expected then?

Maybe instead of wasting time and money on these bullshit outreach and pr stunts, they spend money on crisis training, implicit bias training, and deescalation exercises.

Sure. But just because something is culturally acceptable doesn’t make it normatively appropriate, much less estimable. At one time, child labor, barring women from owning property, and restricting access to the vote and were all culturally appropriate—enjoying apathy, if not wide support, from among the masses.

That description is nope as fuck. Working on your wedding day out of some sense of vocational obligation? Perhaps admirable in a dedication sense, but so depressing from every other aspect. Love what you do and all that, but getting fucked over a barrel in the process? Nah. I like my wife and kid and golf too much for

Sometimes, I wonder when there will be the eventual pushback against the working conditions the animators are put through...

Oh maaaan... You’ve hit a pretty infamous part of ARR’s levelling, there was a massive slog around 45-48, some people felt it up to hitting the lvl50 finale of 2.0, it is worth pushing through that last bit, also if you want quick and easy xp so you can just concentrate on the main story a few round of The Palace of

Furries even in South Korea? No where is safe...

I only bought one because my old TV died. 4K netflix is nice, I guess.

Nope. I’m still on 1080p, both with my TV and my PC monitor. I’m really not fussed about 4K, to be honest—I find the colour saturation/dynamic range offered by HDR much more compelling than the extra pixels.
