I am still playing it! Barely on Chapter 7. It sucks to be an adult sometimes. I’m hoping to finish it by Christmas. And because I can’t mention the game without having spoilers thrown at me and I can’t help but visit my daily game sites, I’ve had some stuff spoiled but it’s ok. I still enjoy the game.

I think at the end of the day they did a good job to ease people in that don’t play JRPGs, etc but still didn’t alienate completely the “Final Fantasy” element of it.

I can’t pinpoint exactly why I like the game. It can be cheesy at times and it does feel like they couldn’t figure out which direction to focus on and just included a mash of everything but it is a really fun game. I’ve been liking the story more than I thought although I did not like some things happening off screen…

Yeah i dont know how i feel about this. The first game felt like it had such a self-contained story. This sequel is going to be heavy. I liked the dynamic of love, fear, death from the first one.

I always go digital because it’s easier. Downside to that I have to uninstall a few games that I have already finished because I’ve run out space.

The anime is very good and short. Not essential I think but I’m glad I watched it (free on youtube) beforehand along with the movie.
