Yeah the part where the car is clearly lined up and prepping to jump, with everyone standing there with their phones out and recording, makes the claim that this was “without warning” really really suspect.

I’ll see your Blackhawk and raise you an Excalibur.... Hasta la vista Baby!

ALWAYS check the underside when you think you’re in love...

I’m on lunch break, but editors never stop editing. Fun entry, but you’ve gotta reconcile A with B.

It’s interesting that our views are exactly opposite - and I don’t mean to be confrontational here. Certainly, Europe has a lot of baggage, but it is an adult. The U.S.A. is still a teenager among nations. Arrogant, subjectively immortal, careless and reckless. I want to think that we Europeans have learnt a bit from

If she lacks confidence to the extent that she is nervous to drive anything RWD (which is obviously a huge variety of vehicles), practice and expert teaching would help make her safer in anything she decides to buy, not just a Miata or BRZ.

I, however, am not a good driver. I cannot be expected to safely drive a car that is RWD and I definitely cannot drive manual.

His country is being invaded by Russia, and he’s actively planning to return to the capitol to help it’s defense, including armed resistance.

Don’t forget Tom. I love his car buying articles. Also Mercedes has had some great articles lately.

Oh, I meant to say in my comment. Rob, NPOND is legitimately the only reason I come to Jalop now.

Is Jalopnik actually actively TRYING to lose readers or what?

Since Torch is Audi 5000, I think someone needs to offer up a weirdo example. Might I tempt her with a car that revolutionized comfort? Something built to handle post war France’s ruined roads with ease? Yes, the answer is a Citroen DS. This one comes well under her price cap, leaving plenty of room to stock up on

Thank you for a great article about an obscure but interesting vehicle. I’ve always vaguely wondered why they had what I thought were double rear axles. Turns out they weren’t, and it turns out they’re mechanically more interesting than I expected. That’s the kind of thing I tune in for.
