I don’t understand the desire for leather seats in a sports car. Why do you want to slide around in your seat when cornering?

as another camper, that is both an avid DIY-er, and someone that frequents the camper surplus stores of elkart indiana, i can’t stand this. it’s a $10,000 cargo trailer with some holes cut in it, after the kids made off with mom’s credit card at an ikea.

I have already started developing Coal heaters that go in the frunks and the chimneys are ported out through the wheel wells.

That’s cool too, but to me it looks far less like it could have come from the factory than the ‘70. The rear part looks definitely grafted on rather than designed into it. It looks to be well done, I’ll give you that.  If I had 40 grand to blow on something dumb, I would seriously be looking at it.

Why? This Caddy is clean, rare and highly collectible. That M5 was rolling trash in need of extensive major repairs.

It is bonkers, and it totally shouldn’t, but I think this is one of the rare projects and specials that might actually get the money. Against all sense, reason, and sanity, I’m voting NP. With the caveat that it’ll be waiting on the shelf for a while for the right buyer, but when that buyer comes along they will go…

I think more people should be shifting to hybrids in the short term than EVs. The problem is that car companies haven’t done enough in either arena to push consumers to what is a better, more economical system in favor of pure ICE. 

That has all the appeal of a cup of chicken fat with a hair in it.

It’s kind of funny... every single thing about this car is terrible and I still find the black-painted wheels the worst part. This trend must die.

Another suggestion for the new writting staff- pretend to like the subject of cars and try to write a few articles actually about cars.  Leave 90% of the snark behind.   Less personality and more content about cars.
