I didn't really see it coming, so at that scene the noises coming out of my mouth turned not quite human and I'm afraid I scared my dog pretty badly.

It's a disposable bag that can be thrown away/burned easily and we know how much MORE Nina was, how full of life and irreplaceable. To reduce her to that is obscene.
And then I wept for Harrow, as I wept for Nina…
I watched this ep alone, in a darkened room and still I literally laughed out loud 4 times. I think I had about 3 "DAMNs!" and at least 2 "awwwwws."
The diner scene made me forget that I already know Mike's fate; suspense worthy of Hitchcock.
Well said! This has been fun jawing about all the character aspects.
Beaver is immortal.
Hadn't thought of it like that, good observation and what an interesting premise…
I suppose that's a good reconciliation, especially for characters you've cared about. And I totally agree I don't want to see a heartless Jimmy - unless Chuck has done something unforgivable. I think it's telling Jimmy took care of Chuck without comment, until he was better. "You're still HERE?" - I enjoyed that…
I think of what Mike went through in this episode alone, just to provide for and protect his daughter-in-law and his beloved granddaughter and then contrast that with how Walter chose, as you mentioned they WERE choices, to treat his children, his family, everyone - but especially Jesse - as means to his end game.
It makes me think of Donnie Darko, Buffalo Bill, Ed Gein, Leatherface, Necropants (look that up during daylight), "Under the Skin", and Edgar from Men in Black all at once, so I won't be sleeping any time soon…
I've never seen it, but would think a sister relationship like that would be equally fascinating characterization.
Really great observations.
Oops, didn't mean to make light of Martin's skills; I don't watch the show so speaking out of my butt mostly for the sake of reference - I meant to say the emotional violence in BCS is more brutal than the PHYSICAL violence of GoT, what little of it I've seen and what lot of it I've heard. Sorry!
I was implying he'd sold to Harvey Lee Oswald, but I like your joke better.
Inferred from the use of "frat party", sorry to disparage your free agent status!
So, Jimmy more evil through good intentions rather than Walt's malevolent intentions, maybe?
They have a pretty good discussion* over at r/breakingbad about why he may have left so many jobs (more than I remember).
OMG Bob Dole likes me! He really likes me!
