A little disco for the gas chamber.

I agree - how devastating would it be for them to have to watch everything they fought and killed and sacrificed and morally compromised themselves for just turn to dust? That would be much more interesting, and I think this show is the type to go for a less flashy resolution like that.
Although, a Mr. James M. McGill, Esq. might persuasively argue differently (and get the charges reduced to time served).
Which is rich, as here Rachel is asserting her own agency while denying the agency of what are essentially - if not her other selves - her genetic equals. It's so much like some in power to hoard freedom for themselves and deny it to those deemed as not worthy, or as threatening to that control.
Caleb showing up at the house with a childhood gift: Flowers in the Crawlspace…
I'd much rather have Caleb kill a guest-starring Walton Goggins, ya know, for cosmic payback…
Norma sniped at Norman's Normaesque sniping - these two are so enmeshed they not only mirror one another, half the time neither one is sure which side of the glass s/he is on.
SOA squandered Ryan Hurst, so I'm happy to see his presence displayed here, even if other viewers find the character grating.
And what was so disconcerting about that was we know Philip better than we know Clark yet we were still terrified because for a moment our sympathies were with Martha rather than with one of the main protagonists of the show; that's the power of this show - to make secondary characters real, to divide loyalties and…
He gave her the Clark/false face with that "I love you" but because that didn't work and because he does at least care for her, he ripped off his disguise to give her the Philip/true face.
Thanks! It used to be StandsWithAGist but that sounded too self-serious. Not a fan of the movie it's from, I just like silly puns.
In a show where strategy necessarily is one of the primary, main edifices please stop using "table-setting" to describe an episode - they all have that structure/purpose. Even before I came to read the review, I knew that irksome phrase would be here, although it's overused across the site (and perhaps across tv…
I imagined Boyd as the Cheshire cat, down in the mines; man probably didn't even need a headtorch.
First time I watched Deadwood I thought Olyphant was just doing a poor imitation of every angry character played by Clint Eastwood and I couldn't stand the actor or the character.
Neither of them I could forgive yet neither of them I can forget.
With an awesome name like Miss Anthropy I can tell you wouldn't troll for cheap emotional responses from internet strangers, so no worries, but I am sorry for your Dad's death whether or not you were close, and genuinely sorry you had to deal with such frustrating, inappropriate selfishness from dear ol' sis. So inane…
Davis & Main was a favorite Richmond restaurant of Gilligan and his girlfriend.
I'm reading a somewhat academic book on parricide offenders and among male juveniles who commit matricide - while there is more than one motivation for the crimes, of course, including severe mental illness, antisocial personality, and severe abuse - the relationship between the two real life family members…
Ugh about "X"mas (I see what you did there, nice!) - that's like if passive aggression sped straight past aggression and came to a screeching halt in all-out sibling warfare. What a jerk she is.
