If anyone’s curious why Mr. Wells starts off his statement with “Every time this happens,” well, let’s just say he has a long and sordid history of this kind of behavior. Specifically, he was the guy that made so much noise over Jennifer Lawrence being “too big” for The Hunger Games, and said that readers should

Heh, found the Crystal Gems in it...

What is this? A room for ants?!

Oh my god:

Kids are stupid and it’s unbelievable how many of us make it to adulthood.

Is it wrong that I spent at least half hour yesterday looking at all the Amazon reviews from angry moms with their kid’s bad hair pictures? It’s so funny and entertaining. Like, for fucks sake, it says on the box that they stick to hair. Maybe don’t let your kids play with it alone if they're prone to putting stuff in

Your abdominals and lower back muscles. Perhaps I’m wrong, but when you prop them up, you transfer part of their support function onto the mechanical wrap itself.

I work in a Canadian business. If it lands on 2 cents it’s round-down, always. 3 cents or higher and you round up. With refunds our register always auto-rounds up. With tax, totals frequently end on the 2-cents and I would say the round-down/round-up ratio is about 50/50. Pricing would have to be carefully set up with

It’s a percentage game. How often do you buy products where the cost will round down versus how often the price will round up? And will businesses even accept rounding down? It’d be easy for them to set up lots of ways so that you’re always rounding up (setting prices at .99 is a good way of doing that already: Run

Round up half the time, round down half the time, net result: no change. Perhaps you’d prefer we bring back the half cent too?

Have we reached a point where all cultural sharing is off limits? That seems so... stagnant.

Don’t cry because it’s over, cry because I’m going to grey the shit out of everyone before I go.

For what it’s worth, I’ve found that many pharmacists are more up to speed on drug interactions, new medicines, and -don’t tell doctors this- are pretty decent primary care professionals. I live in an area that has a shortage of doctors, and people use the local pharmacist as much as their GPs.

It’s almost like these people believe that if you give women affordable, easily accessible birth control it will dramatically reduce the number of unplanned pregnancy and abortions.

Short answer: yes

...and this, ladies and gentlemen, is why unions were invented.

I know I shouldn’t be (as I’ve lived a long enough to have seen it regularly) but I’m constantly amazed at the mean streak and lack of empathy a huge portion of our population seems to suffer from. Are they lacking some part of their brain that allows them to put themselves in someone else’s shoes?

Buy if he’d taken them out of the cart (so customers don’t have to use carts with empty beer cans in them) and thrown them in the trash, that would be fine, right? Because it’s not like Wal-Mart wanted them. Wal-Mart just didn’t want him having them. Logically.

People, it turns out, like to be deceived into thinking they’re getting a sale, even when they’re really not.
