Especially considering he's supposed to be such a Big Bad … and the lame casting for this part doesn't help either,

It really just seems like Veronica Mars with a zombie gimmick and a personality switching gimmick.
I'll say this much for it — it seems parody-proof. Can you imagine an SNL fake trailer any more ridiculous ?
because Clifford cannot look like a normal human boy FOR FIVE SECONDS !!!
Bianculli also wrote "Dictionary of Teleliteracy". A pretty dry title but the apt subtitle is "Television's 500 biggest Hits, Misses and Events" It's a great read — I'm surprised I'm the first one mentioning it here
"Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" by Jack Lechner is something of a follow up. Written in 2000, Lechner watched a week of TV on 12 ( count 'em 12 ! ) tv's. Its a great follow up to the earlier book, entertaining for the same reasons the original was and expanded as it would have to be, utilizing a dozen sets to report…
I was just going to say the same thing. Somehow despite being a glorified infomercial for IRS records it still had more credibility than Alternative Nation or 120 Minutes
Another vote for Kevin Seal. He was snarky without being self important — a rare mix indeed !
I think he'd seem like more of a jerk if she were the one that filed. I think this is a case of a performer being cursed by being too good at playing a jerk. In behind-the-scenes footage on the DVD he seems like a pretty funny guy,
With a last name like that he's a shoe-in for crossword puzzles !
Peter Scolari ! Kevin Pollack ! Bryan Cranston in a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo as Gus Grissom !
Creepy as the villiian ( "Snakeman" ) in 'Dreamscape'
I agree - the Furies look is awesome but they're about the lamest gang in the movie. The Lizzie Bordens could have kicked their asses !
David Patrick Kelly was also very good as the bad guy in "Dreamscape". It's a good movie throughout, but even if it weren't I'd say see it for him.
Much better than any version of "Santa Baby" is Pearl Bailey's similarly themed " 5 pound box of money."
I've also heard that after filming the warehouse scene with all the jumping and falling and getting hit that Hoskins ( who, as a former circus performer, did many of his own stunts ) was so covered with bruises that a trip to the beach on his day off was spoiled by everyone asking what sort of accident he'd been in .
Sounds like you need some new friends.
They'd HAVE to ask him about this as part of his hat-trick of playing 3 legendary rock stars — Elvis in "True Romance", Morrison in "The Doors" and Nick Rivers here !
Less a joke than a cool bit of trivia … on the wall of Nick's cell is a picture of Cher ( you have to look for it ) — Hot young actor Kilmer was Cher's boy toy du jour at the time,
Same Here — cool enough for Chris Knight, damn sure cool enough for me !
