E is especially pertinent. In J-school I was taught email is just about the last avenue of contact to attempt reaching out to anyone, friendly or hostile. Email is easy to ignore, and easy to prepare a statement; get someone on the phone and stammering and you're in the money.

This selective ignorance is hardly new, nor exclusive to the republicans, but hearing McConnell speak constantly about how little the republicans in Congress opposed Obama, compared to democrats trying to oppose Trump, makes me wish the fucker would get eaten by a shark. Which is especially significant…

Hell, I'm just waiting for some prankster to give Trump an executive order removing and permanently banning him from being president, which Trump will of course blindly sign, giving him the distinct honor of being the first president to accidentally resign from office.

That's an interesting point. But as you said, I'm sure a lot of people who approve of him are just thinking "Are liberals upset? Then of course I approve of Trump. Losing my job and healthcare is a small price to pay for making someone in San Francisco cry."

We all know the very dishonest media wouldn't accurately report the results of the games anyways. "Lots of people have been saying that Vanderbilt beat Wake Forest by nearly 3 million points, but media refuses to cover. Sad!"
