Far and away the worst trailer I’ve ever seen.
Maybe you have mistaken this show for She Hulk
That final smile. Jesus Christ.
“Seven Minutes of Terror” describes the poker game pretty well. (Actually I wouldn’t be amazed if the writers intended that as well.)
Didn’t Danny get grounded by NASA for falling off the wagon and getting arrested? I’m pretty sure he joined Helios because he had no other option.
An A- is exceedingly generous; for me, this was the weakest episode of the season, and barely gets to a B-. It started well, and ended well, but in between had all sorts of problems.
Listen I like nitpicking science goofs as much as anyone else, but it beggars belief that the communication time delay was an actual goof given they mention that very thing later in the *same* episode. Mostly likely the scene was supposed to be occurring at the beginning of the mission when they were still close to…
dannys storyline is the soap opera we dont need. or want. it seems to drag everything down, and im not sure the actor can pull it off. there is absolutely no subtlety to the performance. it was best handled in the pool chat, when discussing being the star of your own movie. “dont say the graduate!”
Danny’s plot line and motives in this season are terrible. I hate it, it’s awful, and I wish they’d stop it. I’m not saying there aren’t people that act like that in real life but, there aren’t people that act like that in real life. Well, maybe supervillains. Maybe he’s gonna become a Mars supervillain.
Since the first trailer, I’ve had fears that Love and Thunder would suffer from Guardians 2's similar over-reliance on jokes, only some of them actually funny. Too much Waititi being Waititi can be a bad thing (and you saw glimpses of it in Ragnarok, but it was far outstripped by how solid the entire film was).
Guy who has only seen Spongebob:
Really disagree hard with this review.
I haven’t seen the ep yet, but is this trolling of the haters? So far I think she’s been fine. (Ewan is the MVP of any Star Wars he’s in).
The issue with Solo wasn’t that it was a divisive movie, the issue is that it came out after the release of the divisive Star Wars movie.
Yeah. Leia’s message is Leia in diplomatic mode, but when Luke comes into the detention block he says something like, “I’m here to rescue you. I’ve got your R2 Unit... I’m here with Ben Kenobi.” At which point she excitedly shouts, “Ben Kenobi is here! Where is he?” Which implies that her connection to Obi-Wan is more…
“Leia’s “help me Obi-Wan Kenobi” message that she gives to R2-D2 in the movie seems to imply that she and Obi-Wan do not know each other, but she eventually does meet Obi-Wan in part two of the premiere and she hears him referred to as Obi-Wan—despite his insistence that he is called “Ben.””
“Bill?”
always happy to find another person who didn’t like guardians 2. russos aside there’s also a bit of streak with directors who come back delivering a worse product (wildly agreed upon that iron man 2 is inferior, obviously mileage varies but i do not like gotg2 at all, i didn’t like far from home, and age of ultron…
Now will a full trailer I’m... a little less excited than I was with Ragnarok?
