Werner Herzog delivered a line in episode 7 about the New Republic’s struggles, how people were better off during the Empire, etc and after he said it, all I could think of is that is exactly the type thing the movies should have addressed. What happens when the new gov’t struggles? Would people overlook the bad of

Netflix: Oh no! We lost subscribers this quarter for the first time ever! But why?

Solomon Grundy want pants too.

Arnold Schwarzenegger made plenty of shit films too, and he is clearly the model Johnson is patterning his career after.”

Agreed. Checked out on episode 4 but kept reading these to see if it picked up, but alas... I wasn’t even paying for the episodes and somehow was still ending up feeling robbed.

I’m just going to go out and say it: this Twilight Zone has been incredibly disappointing. There was so much potential and nuance to explore in many of these conceits, but for whatever reason they’ve decided on an almost cringe-worthy amount of heavy-handedness. Not only that, but the messaging in this episode is a

Even if it drops 70%, that would still be $100M next weekend.

What the hell are you talking about? The 3DS sold 60% of last years forecast, and still managed to move 2.5 MILLION units 7 years after launch. The Wii U didn’t even come close to that number in year 4.

3DS currently has over 70 million lifetime units sold since 2011.  Wii U is at about 13 million since 2012 - only a

It was visually pleasing, but the only other bright spot for me was Marika Sila. I hope to see more of her in the future. It was paced badly. Maybe had it been shorter I’d have found it a bit more engaging, but I didn’t find Yeun’s character entertaining as much as annoying. This series has been a letdown for me so

Well at least I now know you’re just entirely nuts. If you thought the last episode was worthy of a B and this one was leagues worse... yeah, I mean to each his own but you seem wholly unfit to review television shows. But okay.

That’s the Fairsley difference.

I, for one, enjoyed the return of Senator Tankerbell.

I’ve seen trailers for this before every IMAX movie for, it feels like, a year. NB movie promo companies: not a good strategy. I’m so bored by this I wouldn’t watch it on Netflix on a rainy hungover Sunday.

Again with the origin?  Everyone knows that dog was bitten by a radioactive dog, giving it the strength, speed, and agility of a dog-sized dog.

Right? I said to my friend thank god I don’t live in the future where no one has conversations they just give long monologues standing in front of one another. And it’s like that shit is supposed to be deep but I make the hand wanking motion the whole time.

The highlight of the season for me (and I presume a lot of people) was the episode that focused on Achetka, mainly because it stood outside all of the non-linear mumbojumbo. The rest was just convoluted for the sake of being convoluted.

You’re not too stupid to see it, they just intentionally obfuscate things to create a mystery where one isn’t needed.

I know it’s sacrilege, but season two has been a snooze fest. Due to the fact that they want things to be mysterious, I can’t get emotionally invested in anything and the multiple time lines seem more like a gimmick at this point than actually serving as a plot point.

My husband and I stopped watching this season after episode 2 and didn’t look back. No matter how convoluted a show is, if the viewer can find some semblance of internal logic to what’s happening (even if magical or hypertechnological aspects are in play), then it’s still engaging and worth watching. Westworld seems

I watched this season with a lot less enthusiasm as I did for the first season and only finished this season out because I finish what I’ve started. But I’ve already deleted my season pass and will not be watching next season. But HBO still got my money.
