Pretty cool! I would have to say that no one would ever confirm it, but with Tim Sweeney stating the reason for the sale to Microsoft was related to the cost of making the games, it seems entirely obvious that Epic was angling for a multi-console release or a timed exclusive for Gears 3.

Super disagree about the touch pad; lots of games made good use out of it. I loved how in Horizon you could set the HUD so that it would only pop up momentarily if you lightly tapped the touch pad, whereas a press would bring up the map.
