I call bullshit. While the "push, pass, or get off my ass" rule definitely apply, sometimes there are two lane roads with no passing zones and some asshole still feels the need to get right on my bumper... when I'm in the middle of the pack, and we're obviously not getting anywhere any faster than the guy in front. I

Nope, but wind would not bother this stuff. It's very sticky, and once you press it on, it's really set. The factory pin-up fiberglass fabric stuff would blow around much more.

I use RaamMat. Smaller company. I'm very impressed with their product. I think it lasts longer and is of higher quality than dynamat.

If your E30 is loud, then I'm assuming it's been stripped? All my E30s are quiet as a mouse, so I've never considered matting them. They have like 200 pounds of sound deadening in them from the factory... Although if you were to add anything, I'd use RaamMat under the hood.

I've used RaamMat on my subaru Forester. The doors and wheelwells help out greatly, but I gotta say that my favorite place for sound deadener is under the hood. That thing is like a snare drum in factory trim, the fabric sound deadening is a joke, it just rattles around in the wind. After laying on a few sheets of

My 2000 Forester has the antenna built into the driver side rear window. Pretty sweet, I like it. Looks not unlike a defrost resistor wire net.

Okay, okay. Agreed, car salesman and knucklehead are indeed synonyms in the thesaurus. No argument there. I do suppose referring to a 4-door sedan as a sports car is pretty dopey.

More like bathwater. Surfing in shorts kinda weather here.

There's no any water anywhere in the Chesapeake Bay is below 60 right now. Try 75-85. The bay feels like bathwater in July.

meh. Whatevz. Sure a "sports car" might technically be a 2 door, 2 seat convertible, If you're using the definition from the 70s. But I think these days, anything sporty is probably considered a sports car, from corvette, to mustang, to miata. Sports cars. Get outta here with that nitpickery. It bears no relevance on

Early Bronco. No substitutes.

Doesn't matter. If the platform takes it out of the race, then you'll have to pull a whole host of other "SUVs" out as well. If you're comparing it on the merits of function, the forester performs SUV tasks better than most "real" SUVs. If offroad is really your thing, a 1" lift costs less than $200. Add a taller tire

I wouldn't even go so far as to call out the turbo. The N/A models are geared better for offroad and are much more reliable. 30+mpg too. I've taken my 2000 Forester S over some pretty gnarly trails.

The Nissan D21 is pretty underrated, methinks. They're really stout little trucks. I think they're the best of all japanese small pickups. The body and engine always outlast the toyota equivalent.

Meh.

A pleasure to hold.

+1

These came in the 325is as well. At least in 87. I have two of them. Very nice indeed.

2000 Subaru Forester

2000 Forester... 225k, still going strong. If the motor bites the dust, I'll do a diesel swap and keep on going. I'll keep it forever.
