That is an argument being put forth right now, and I’ve been seeing it for close to two weeks. Basically, “this whole thing is being blown out of proportion by the media to harm Trump by instigating panic.” People just characterize it as the flu and want to talk about how nobody worried about that before (because they

That’s okay. It’s still paid for, and being used within the limits set by the company. I’m not responsible for looking out for their bottom line, nothing is being stolen, and in many cases the shows are either available over the air and/or there are double the ads being shown. They’re fine, even if their preference

The service is still being paid for, often also includes ads, and is subject to the company’s own limitations. I don’t see how it falls into an ethical gray area, either - there’s nothing wrong with sharing a password to allow someone to use a service you’re paying for.

I think a lot of that shift is from increased ease of access and granular choice. It doesn’t make sense to download every episode of Dallas anymore if you want to watch it - it would take a long time, it’s risky both legally and in terms of picking up malware, and you have an easier, risk-free alternative if you just

You’ve got the expectation backward. It’s that you shouldn’t be a spiteful, destructive goblin-man flinging feces and killing yourself and your descendants to “teach ‘em a lesson.” You could just, like, be an adult and eat a burger sometimes and then dispose of your trash responsibly.

In answer to your question - if you’re driving it daily, yeah, prob’ly.

Man, that’s a perfect body style for any application that’s not hauling, maybe with slightly wider tires. I think that might be very close to the truck of my dreams...

In the nebulous future where my family can afford a third car, a small, relatively fuel-efficient pickup is my first choice. I’m using a wagon now, and it just doesn’t quite do the job sometimes (usually an issue of needing to close the gate or of height). And I’d have a heck of a time selling a good van as a family

What kind of old-timer isn’t installing their own CB rig?

Gosh. I hate to say it, but I’ve got bad news for you about science fiction as an overarching genre.

Now we’re fanning. We’re gonna have to Febreeze.

I had a similar thought on Frankenstein - just stick (more or less) to the original story. The monster, even though he’s a victim, becomes cruel and hateful and scary. I’m not sure how you translate that from a 200-year-old period piece, but someone can.

What, no stupid, obvious “political” cartoon this time? No comments with ableist language, intended to insult?

He’s been very clear that he’s winning. What he’s winning is less obvious, but his technique is interesting:

Probably depends who’s getting sick. If they’re not the right people, he can just claim to have prayed about it.

I didn’t think you’d be able to, but this is somehow dumber than the last thing you posted. You found the world’s dumbest political cartoon to cap off your shitty, incorrectly capitalized madlib. Was there not one about how the Youths™ use their cellphones too much? How embarrassing. I’d feel bad for you, except you

I came back to this story to watch your dumb comment get dunked on, and I am delighted to see it getting the rough treatment it deserves.

We have an older woman in my office who apparently doesn’t wash hands no matter what. And most of us always pay attention to what she brings in and what she’s touching at office events for that exact reason.

I have never seen this, but I hope I keep that record intact.

And gill, gift, and gimbal!
