HOLY SHIT! That was amazing.
HOLY SHIT! That was amazing.
Really shouldn't the headline be: "How Weak Are Europeans and the F1 Paddock?"
Yes, but there are or would be consequences. How does a brand live down or overcome the affect of a truly terrible car and the lasting affect it has on it's brand interpretation?
Does this potentially create a conflict for Buffet and Berkshire Hathaway? Much like Elon Musk in that as an owner of a manufacturer, in this case part ownership of BYD and GM, can he be a reseller/retailer?
What a load of FUCKING HORSE SHIT!
So let me break this down to bullet points if I can"
"The New McLaren 625C Is A Slower And Softer 650S For Asia"
Oh Matt, you know better. The rotary engine is dead until a major, and I mean MAJOR technological breakthrough can be made to improve the efficiency of the rotary engine. Until then, the Rotary Engine is Dead, long live the rotary engine.
I was once told by a few very high up executives at Honda/Acura that the alpha numeric nomenclature exists and was created not so as to follow the Germans but to literally make you say the name of the manufacturer when talking about one of their cars.
Hub motors don't work because when your in an accident the wheels are almost always involved and damaged. With Hub motors that means you damage your engine and propulsion units as well. It's not about being tied to an internal combustion engine it's really about component position and protection.
My head is just spinning out of control like in the Exorcist. So many smart comments today on Jalopnik. This one is great BiggsHoson
HOLY FUCK! Excuse my french but someone on Jalopnik said something beyond intelligent. You Sir/Madame get my respect and admiration.
Actually that's a Tesla, or the old GM High Wire.
I don't think you are totally right or wrong in your assessment of Musk. I'm a fan, just not the big and will wait to look at his works life in entirety after he's done.
You wouldn't have, it was very brief and just an idea floated. I have had Twitter conversations with Mr. Harris on another project in our past, 'Project Green and Yellow' if he can recall.
I know they do and that is why I(we) talked to JF last year at VIR briefly and want you and Drive to learn more to see if you're interested in what we are doing. Would, could make a great /Inside Drive.
It may but that is not what I was aiming for. Those fanboys would show anyways. You and I as real car enthusiasts, what do we think of the idea of a non traditional 'car company' entering the market?
I know they have 'poked' around the idea and even talked to a few manufacturers but what if the path and cost to entry was reasonable and the technology groundbreaking and unique?
A question for all the Jalops: What if Apple did produce a car, would you accept it, like or dislike it? Just the idea or concept of the idea as we have not seen or heard anything. I just want to know given the stratospheric popularity of Apple and the (at best) luke warm reception Google cars has received.
Many have speculated over the last few seasons, the last 2 in particular, whether Top Gear was dead and done? This I fear may be that sign that yes, it's dead and done!
