I used Bruxish in Sun Moon. I only usually use current regional pokemon though. I think my Bruxish had a bite move boosting ability? If I remember right I gave it some crunchy moves and it was pretty awesome.

Jetstream Sam is Sam Gideon, the protagonist of Vanquish. Platinum Games made that too. I remember it feeling very MGS-like in terms of plot and cutscene delivery as well, right down to Sam constantly sparking up cigs.
