Great movie with a great style! Deserved to make more than it did.

Seriously ...

I don't think it was a particularly great movie, but I'm still really curious as to what would have happened if Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within became the big hit of 2001 that Sony was gambling it could be, and Square Pictures was allowed to stay in business and continue perusing their vision of photorealistic CGI

The double punch of glorious cult '80's action films:

I wanted to see Buckaroo Banzai versus the World Crime League . . .

Speed Racer. It was such a great, weird movie — and utterly gorgeous to boot. If only it had done well at the box office, maybe the Wachowskis would have had a bigger effects budget on Cloud Atlas (another great movie) so the makeup looked less foolish and it would have appealed to a broader audience. Then maybe

Cloud Atlas

Without hesitation. This movie deserved to be a box office hit instead of the cult classic it now is.

I could list movies that deserved better ALL DAY LONG. So many movies I love should've done more at the box office.

God Damn, mother flippin Speed Racer.

"Holy Tilda Swinton."

I had one of those foolish moments where I was thinking, "Maybe they changed it, maybe he lives!" Then I remembered that some men just want to watch the world burn.

Call Winston Wolfe. Marvin's brains are all over the inside of the car.

I liked last night's episode, but it had a dark "I Love Lucy" kindof vibe going on. All culminating in Donnie Marvin-ing Leekie. Which does suck because you can never have enough Matt Frewer.... EVER.

Now? Not always?

Well. Now I require another Hellboy movie.

This is one of the all-time classics... they brought Starbuck back from the dead and revealed four new Cylons at the end of BSG season three, and the writers have admitted they came up with this at more or less the last minute, figuring they would explain it all later.
