I love the new dialogue system and how they added a voice to your main character. Now Bethesda can't be picked on for having a main storyline that's only slightly longer and deeper than a Witcher 3 side-quest.

I doubt Lucas had anything to do with the explanation. It was just some writer creatively cleaning up his mess in the best way possible...which ignores the fact that a parsec is 3.26 LY in length, so 12 of those would have to mean whatever black hole you’re skirting is of galactic proportions.

Not that it matters anymore, but the whole parsec-is-a-unit-of-distance thing was cleared up in the EU. Kessel is near a cluster of black holes, and if you were risky enough and you skirted the black holes on the Kessel run (thus shortening the distance) you did the Kessel run in less parsecs.
