I have my own example of this. 2 years ago I took my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee to a dealer to get an oil change. They told me the oil pan cap was stripped out and needed to be “re-tapped”. Just like that, a $35 job became a $105 job.

I regret that I have but one star to give to you.
At first I thought Regular Car Reviews were funny. However, I soon realized he wasn’t just mocking the cars, he was mocking the people who owned them. That really isn’t fair since a lot of people don’t really get to choose their cars, or can’t afford something better.
I’m sure there are legitimate reasons to like a Porsche SUV or CUV. However, I feel they show the world that the owner has money, but no taste.
I’m sorry to get even more technical on you, but it is actually the third. There is a version of Casino Royale that is not well known. It was an episode of a 1950’s anthology TV show called Climax!. The episode aired in 1954, and Barry Nelson played Bond.
The Telly Savalas version of Blofeld is so awesome. He actually leads his henchmen in pursuit of Bond, and in the bobsled sequence he personally fights Bond and is not a pushover. The other versions of Blofeld are fun, but they are passive and not prone to physical violence. They prefer to give orders. The Savalas…
I rode in a Hummer for a tour of Hell’s Revenge trail in Moab. I was truly impressed by what that behemoth of a vehicle was capable of.
If you don’t like Star Wars then don’t watch it. Nothing is making you. Nothing. I know plenty of people who have never even seen a single Star Wars movie and they get along in life just fine.
Just wait until people start interfering with autonomous cars on purpose. Anti-social types are going to be cutting them off, brake checking them, and possibly hacking them. Oh what fun the future will be.
I mean how will it recognize who got there first?
I’ve got a ZJ Jeep, which isn’t far removed from the XJ. I have done some intense jeep trails with it, and it came through with flying colors. It’s amazing what is capable of. It’s damn good in the snow too.
Since you mentioned it, how does it handle a 4-way stop in the first place?
What is a person to do if they live in a place that has snow on the ground for days, weeks, or even months on end? Their “office machismo” is then replaced by a simple need to continue living their life. Is their autonomous car just going to say tough shit and sit there like a brick?
Speaking of winter, how are autonomous cars going to behave in winter driving conditions?
That struck me as well.
Teslas are great for the affluent to have as a daily driver as they go to and from work and the shopping mall. However I often go on road trips and that is the reason I would never purchase a car with this kind of limited range. Especially since it takes many hours to recharge it.
Is it possible that there is a situation here similar to the B-1 bomber and its cancellation in the 1970s? President Carter couldn’t publicly explain that it was because of the development of stealth technology and that funds were being put toward the B-2.
Many Years ago I pre-0rdered a game at Gamestop. They said it would not be available at opening on the release date, but they would call me when it had been delievered to the store. I was not at home that morning (still used a landline phone back then) so I drove over a little before noon to check if it had come in.…
