so we have you to thank for that one! Good Job, and Thank You Sir.

and doing some more looking, you may be closer to correct than I thought, and I apologize, though it depends on Ferrari being written as a Font (which is subject to a whole freaking ream of legal code involving copyright and trademark law) or as Typeface (which isn't). If its a typeface then he's pretty much covered

I think you've got it a little backwards. Selling Purrari merchandise would make it 100% illegal with out consent from Ferrari. Simply existing as a not for profit or not for reproduction item still retains its status as a legal matter open to interpretation. Where issue lies that the name Ferrari and the font that

that is an amazing picture! Hopefully ill get beautiful scenery on my coast to coast flight in October.

Purrari is a parody and is covered under fair use. Using Ferrari's font to spell Purrari is a violation of trademark. I hope the difference is clearer now, its not what is said that is the issue, its the font that is used that Ferrari is mad about.

oh man that's awesome. Canada better watch out or some Russian soldiers might get "lost" in Canada. After all, there's only an ice sheet between them and I hear that its easy to get lost up around the north pole.

unfortunately not. Purrari is legal under parody laws, however the use of Ferrari font is trademarked, and that's where he has gotten himself in trouble. Had he used anything else he would be golden, as such he is in violation of trademark law.

unfortunately Ferrari does have a legal leg to stand on. The Ferrari font is trademarked. His Purrari uses it without their permission. If he had stayed clear of that he could have told Ferrari to go shove it. At that point Ferrari probably would never sell him a new one.

i think its more that the trademarked Ferrari font was used more so than prancing kitty. If you spelt Volvo in the ferrari font i guarantee you that Ferrari would send you a letter.

You mean more like this?

interesting. Dorky looking but interesting. I wonder how far materials science is behind the conceptualization of a practical helmet. I'd like to actually wear one to see if the problems I imagine actually exist. This helmet seems rather.... Bulky. Eye movement vision seems to be reasonably clear but what about range

No I get it exactly, I know exactly what you're complaining about. You do not want anything but car related post on Jalopnik. Trust me. We all get that you're unhappy about that. If you look RIGHT Under the article title you will see "michael ballaban shared a post by Tyler Rogoway" there is what you have issues with.

Okay apparently you don't get how this site works. The story is written on Foxtrot Alpha by Tyler Rogoway, it is then shared by someone on Jalopnik to appear on Jalopnik's feed. NO ONE here has any control over where the article is shared to, you'recomplaining to people who CAN NOT help you and quite frankly making a

damn where are the homologation rules when you need them.

you aren't on Jalopnik any more, you're on Foxtrot Alpha :points at the header at the top of the webpage:: and FA tends to deal with military stuff. If you don't like military stuff, don't come into FA. Mr Rogoway doesn't control who post and shares his post onto Jalopnik, maybe you're displeasure would be better

but we aren't on Jalopnik. This is Foxtrot Alpha. ::points to the header at the top of the web page:: Foxtrot Alpha is usually centered around military stuff. If you don't like reading about it.... Don't come here. It really is that simple. Mr Rogoway has no control over where his post on his blog are shared. If you

Oh man if I was on the west coast I'd buy that and an industrial size of goo-gone

as long as we are discussing the article, not the media where its posted on, then I'm sure we can have rational productive and intelligent discussion.

lol, I was looking to see if anyone was gonna post this (so I didn't have to). And yeah..."dating" that's ...umm... exactly what A4A is for. ::tries not to laugh uncomfortablely::
