sigh. Again, NO. It depends on the state so maybe if you are a bike rider do your due diligence about state laws. And if you are only allowed on the road (some states do allow cyclists on sidewalks) then follow the traffic laws. Stop at stop signs, traffic lights, etc...

As a frequent pedestrian, I’ve observed drivers and bike riders in many many situations and I have say: bike riders are much more dangerous -- they swoop too close when they pass; they don’t yield right of way; they ignore road rules that apply to them, the endanger themselves and pedestrians by confusing

When people fail to follow the rules of the road, they are the ones making it worse for everyone. I never claimed to not be a part of traffic, that doesn’t even make sense. But after multiple problems with bike riders as both a driver and as a pedestrian, I’m tired of all the lame excuses bike riders have not refusing

Even if he was hurt, you should feel 0% guilty. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I’m a bike commuter and wholly endorse this attitude.

When I’m on the road with my bike, I’m a vehicle and subject to all the rules and regulations there of.

1. How many cars do you see run red lights vs. bikes? I think I’ve seen one car run a red light this year vs. seeing bikes do it almost daily.

Minneapolis too. I once swerved violently to avoid a cyclist that came out of nowhere going the wrong in the parking lot at my dentist’s office. I had my 3 year old in the backseat. After it was clear I wasn’t going to hit the biker, she kindly told me “fuck you”. Fuck me, why exactly? For driving my kid to her

This is true, but bicyclists are the only ones who are both as fast as a car (in urban environments) and as agile and unprotected as pedestrians. It’s the worst of both worlds.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Also, bike riders can spare me the shame lecture about how I am polluting the environment with my car, and how it is my coffin. It would be great to have the free time to pedal my bicycle around town to leisurely get where I need to go, but I have a real job, 2 kids and a

Oh yay!! A reason to talk about effing bike riders. It’s not the bike I hate, it’s the riders. “But But But we’re just like cars, you should consider us a car when you encounter us on a road” they say. To which I say when you can do the effing speed limit on said road I will consider it. Not until then!

Dear Cyclists - in case you were wondering, when you are on the roads you count as a vehicle, not a pedestrian. Kindly follow the laws for vehicles. Perhaps then you’ll survive all those red lights you currently shoot through like your ass was on fire and your eyes were shut tight.

Fair enough. I find it disingenuous then. She took the non speaking role of a woman who is raped so that, what, she could write an op-ed later about affirmative consent? Really?

I liked Chad and hated him, but I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt and thinking editing had a huge part in that - esp considering how douchey the other guys really were [Jordan, the short marine guy].

I’m sorry for your loss. :/

You are in-state for Maryland an your son wants to go out-of-state to Texas? Carefully consider the financial implications!

I’ve had similar issues with my mom and it’s a big problem because I *need* to talk some things over and she just won’t. It took therapy for me to learn to ‘let go’ - which means I don’t visit often and only for short periods of time. I’ve accepted she’s not going to talk to me like I want her to, so I just keep

I’m obviously not the best person to give you advice because I would’ve told them all to go fuck themselves. Like, I would not visit this person and maybe probably wouldn’t talk to them anymore unless strictly necessary. You’re not responsible for someone else’s daughter! Anyway, I just want to commiserate because

What are the chances of your child being killed by a gun during a playdate, and how does that compare to the likelihood of other playdate

Right? Today, I’d be like, “Fuck ya for trying to minimize me like that, we are over,” but I wasn’t as confident then.

I don’t know if that was deliberate or a typo, but “ho-worker” is inspired.
