Not to defend the game or the developers, but the game isn’t lacking 1080p support. I’ve been playing it at 1080p since launch with zero issues.

Just to clarify, the PC port worked flawlessly for me. But two friends of mine had trouble with it, specifically with some sort of upscaling/interlacing issue. Their screens are both 1080p, but the game was rendering at 900i for some weird reason.
But the fix was as easy as using Borderless Gaming to play the game on a…
No kidding man. Persona 5 is upcoming and I’m interested in Mass Effect as well. Not to mention I play a bit of Shadowverse and wouldn’t mind getting some Overwatch in there as well. At this point they’d need to make the days 36 hours long for me to have time with this.
Lucky for him that monitor isn’t a ‘professional’ version as their VESA mounts tend to be reinforced by a metal plate. Otherwise he’d have gotten something WAY more severe slamming his head into it.
I don’t think this is a game that was ever marketed or presented as being for kids under five. E for Everyone just means its appropriate for anyone to play. Doesn’t mean they’ll be able to play it.
Fuck’em.
But why do we NEED games for kids? When I was 8 I got Zelda 2. I beat it at 9. Dumbing things down for kids is stupid. I mean duck man we had Kid Icarus, Contra, and Castlevania. And we beat them.
I know it’s uncool to do anything but hate CAD, but here we are. Some of the recent Zelda comics have been decent.
Maybe some people, I don’t know, like their games? Crazy, I know.
Inquisition was super fucked up with its animations at several points in the game. I had an empty pair of pants walking around during a cutscene once.
No, all we can admit is the extremely small amount of gameplay and trailers we have seen. None of us have played it. Only reviewers that have played for a few hours of a 40+ hour game. Did everyone just love all the time spent in DA:O? Hell no. Half the game was shite and the rest was fantastic. How about mass…
I absolutely love Mass Effect 3, shitty ending and all. It doesn’t have the best ending, but the individual character stories all have excellent conclusions. Plus, it has the best combat of the series. Mass Effect 1 is still my favorite, but 3 closely follows it.
I don’t know about Dragon Age (never played those), but the whole Mass Effect trilogy was full of weird animations, funny facial expresions and rigid as hell body language, along with plenty of funny walking animations. People never cared much about that, if at all (me included), because the narrative and dialogue…
I don’t know, Inquisition could also look mighty stilted at times.
See, I think Naughty Dog could teach the industry a few things about the ‘uncanny valley’ it’s always been due to the eyes that create the gap between real and unreal expressionism, but they absolutely nailed it.
Why are people this surprised?
Has Mass Effect EVER had great facial animation?
It was a god damn meme for YEARS. (Shep face).
I really don’t give a crap about it. Could be a production compromise.
But i play this game for the story, dialog, settings and scenery.
The journey is the reward?
I think its hilarious. Nintendo is poking fun at how many of the things you run around collecting in games are useless. The reward for collecting the seeds is....more inventory space. To expect a reward for getting all the rewards is kind of silly...thus poop.
You realize you get useful rewards for collecting the seeds, too, right?
If it really has no redeeming value at all and is, well, just a pile of poop one can’t use for anything, then i’d actually find that perfect for this game.
