I had a friend who bounced off Transistor because he didn’t like how it talked to you. I love it, the narration was why I bought Bastion back in the day so I didn’t mind seeing something similar in Transistor, but for him it was too noisy. I never asked him about the Stanley Parable. I’m curious if he’d hate it too

That sounds pretty amazing then. Being able to essentially pause hunger for three days would give you plenty of time to do extended dungeon runs. I kinda wish I had picked it now because Feast has become more of a lazy I don’t want to cook button for me than a thing I do because I’m low on resources and every time I

ack nvm, I forgot the bit at the end saying you can only have one diseased heart at a time. I don’t know if that counts only hearts you get from drawing cards or if it means you’re only able to have one at a time so you can’t stack them no matter where you get them. If the former it’s at least better than the starting

I think the fates fleece is decent early since the runs aren’t that long and four cards is a big enough boost to clear the simple preboss runs. Later on when you have extra money and can buy more cards when you hit the tarot shop, or if you’re doing long runs in the areas you’ve already cleared, being able to take

Is there a downside to this? Like do they get tired or similar when it wears off? I was happy with feast most of the game but when you get to go back to old areas and do long runs three days with no hunger seems pretty huge. I’m at the point where I’ve got more than enough food to just cook extra meals and leave them

I only had this happen to me once (got softlocked in a cleaning animation) but they fixed that specific bug in a patch already and I didn’t lose any progress thankfully. I was playing on PC, which is getting patched pretty much every day so maybe I’m just getting lucky and avoiding most of these bugs? I heard console

I said I didn’t like 2d Zeldas (Minish cap was ok). I very much enjoy 3D Zeldas and have played most of them. I get the Zelda formula and what about it was lacking or different in BotW, the open world exploration elements just really clicked for me and gave me something I didn’t know I wanted in a modern Zelda.

Change,

One more big tip: there’s a summon circle type building you unlock that lets you summon demons to possess your followers. They don’t die, and can’t take damage while in the dungeon, they just come back from the trip exhausted and need some bed rest. If you upgrade it you can bring up to three demons with you and it

I hate open world games but I loved BotW. I dislike most of the old 2d Zelda’s though so I’m also a weird Zelda fan.

I think BotW was a very polarizing game for fans because it was so different from the established formula but the fact that it was so different breathed some new life into the series for critics/jaded

I think the combat systems in the FF7 remake proved that square knows there’s a not insignificant portion of it’s fanbase who wants turn based combat back.

They’ve been trying to cater to a bigger audience by implementing more western rpg mechanics in their combat but it’s alienating part of their core audience.

For a

yeah I think you’re right about that. I’ve been wondering why he felt more compelling in Tales compared to the end of BL2. Maybe Tales just had better writing but it could be that his motivations are less convoluted in Tales. He just wants to live. There’s no plot about his daughter being a siren and a big vault

I forget exactly when. I remember doing sidequests or something in that huge car area (I think it was called The Dust or something like that). At some point you had to break into a Hyperion Prison camp. I think it was part of the Dam rescue mission chain but I forget how a lot of those were strung together.

Story wise

I’ve been a rightstuf customer since it’s mail order catalog days. It seems kinda quaint now but back then I didn’t know many places to buy anime and I used them to finish the VHS collection of Evangelion I had started collecting at anime conventions.

They’ve been a major go to shopping site for me over the years. I

I’m still not sure if BL2 or 3 is my favorite (haven’t played the new Tiny Tina game). BL2's story was a bit messy but Handsome Jack was a lot of fun. However, there was a certain point where the game switched from a mix of enemies to mostly hyperion robots and I didn’t have a good corrosive weapon and just...couldn’t

I mean, hats are pretty great though. :p

The pokemon contests kinda teased the idea of dressing up your pokemon so I’m surprised it took them that long to actually do it. Especially since they added trainer customization and clothing options in X/Y.

Sure, it’s just funny to me that I’ve seen a few people play through the main game and watched some of the rp server shenanigans without seeing any of them use it. If you asked me before I read this article I’d have assumed it was a mod or something

Thought I’d misread the headline for a second. I didn’t know GTA had a first person mode.

I remember being stuck in Baltimore one summer with a friend helping his dad renovate his apartment building. We rented the D&D movie because the dvd came with a demo disc for Baldur’s gate 2. Watched the movie once but we kept the dvd for an extra week just so we could keep screwing around in the demo

So all I really

I feel like there was an emphasis put on the co-op aspect of Elden Ring around launch that wasn’t reflective in game. I don’t have any real evidence for this but I know a lot of people from work and similar who have never touched a Souls type game that picked up Elden Ring planning to play through it with a friend

I usually love these sorta games but for some reason a lot of them look really ugly. I’m not a graphics snob or anything but the style is usually so off-putting that I don’t bother trying them out.

This game falls into that trap for me. This kinda 3d style looks kinda ugly and cheap to me. I feel bad for saying that
