I heard they filmed her parts in Endgame before they started filming Captain Marvel so maybe they just decided to keep it brief to make sure they didn’t clash with her solo movie characterization?

I think they used her fairly well when she was around. I would have liked to see a bit more of her, but I’m sure she’ll

Wow, the comments here are actually worse than the ones on youtube. That’s kind of impressive.

Anyway thanks for taking us on this ride Tim. Learning more about Japanese and one of my favorite games would have been worth the time, but those little personal stories about your time in Japan made these videos something

Centipedes are a sorta representative of impurity and stagnation in a lot of Buddhist and Shinto mythology and the whole concept of stagnation and impurity is a very shinto thing. Sekiro really doubles down on a lot of that with it’s story and symbolism. It’s interesting.

Ugh, I feel like I just got my PS4.

These videos are so good. Thanks for the hard work and stories Tim. It’s been a pleasure going on this wild ride with you. It’s crazy that almost 22 years later I’m still learning new things about this game.

that’s fair

I tend to always play as the girl character if I get a choice but if the story is designed around it then it isn’t a problem. Not ever PC needs to be an empty slate for the player to insert themselves into the game world. Most stories are actually better off when that isn’t the case imo. Just look at the Wit

Single player story based game is good, but why does there always have to be a Jedi? If only Star Wars 1313 didn’t get cancelled.

If all collector’s editions gave me artbooks and the game’s soundtrack I’d be happy. Instead a lot of them give me weird pins and other oddities. Some of the statues and things are nice, but having the soundtrack and being able to rip it onto my PC is really nice and I love artbooks.

The Dreamcast is still my favorite controller. The triggers felt so good to pull and the dpad was so responsive (though not as great as the Saturn’s dpad which was about as perfect as a dpad could get). I really missed it when Soul Calibur 2 came out. Took me a long time to adjust.

I don’t really like this argument. The problem isn’t that the epic store sucks, it’s that it sucks now compared to everything else. Maybe it’ll be better in a few years, sure, but right now it’s a garbage pile for a variety of reasons and it’s lacking a lot of basic store functions (no shopping cart!). You’d think

I’m kind of conflicted about this. Character builds are fun and offer a degree of replayability since you can try out new things but it usually leads to a lot of mistakes. Some games don’t punish you for sinking skill points into the wrong things, but others do so games that limit you to this usually make worried

Pretty much. I’m not sure how I feel about streaming games, I think I’d rather buy them, but streaming with america’s crappy internet isn’t gonna cut it right now. Especially if you live in a more rural area. It’s just not stable or fast enough to be reliable.

Yeah, I was looking forward to one day parkouring around modern or future times as Desomd proper once he got all of his training. Not so much because of Desmond, but because it seemed to be what it was going to build up to.

But nope. There’s still a lot of interesting historical settings to explore, but I’m not totally

I’m glad to hear they’re putting more options for stealth back into the game and trying to address how gimped assassinations was in Origins (I hated the focus on combat over sneaky takedowns and stealth) but I’m still not a fan of the rpg aspects being injected into the game.

Periodic upgrades to weapons and armor

I feel like Rise just came out. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I just wasn’t ready to play another new Tomb Raider game yet. Even if there weren’t other good games out at the moment, I think I’d have still given it a pass.

I’ve heard this alot, and it always seems to be people who live in big cities who get shafted by delivery delays and poor service. I used to chalk this up to city delivery people being more busy, but these days I’m not so sure.

I live in a small town, and my stuff sometimes shows up a day early. It’s never been late.

I’ve read a few other posts saying similar things, but it was such a slog getting to that point that I didn’t think it was worth it. It just makes the first half of the game feel more like a chore than fun. The new GOW is a great game overall, but it’s clunky in some really odd/annoying ways. There’s definitely a lot

Pretty much every enemy in the game is a damage sponge on anything but easy. It’s the worst. >.<

Sigrun though, is a fun fight. Probably because the sheer variety of her attacks kept the fight from feeling stale. Things were just too chaotic for me to even look at her health bar and notice how tanky she was. That fight

I’m not an expert, but unions just don’t seem to be a big thing here in the US. We do have them, but companies usually bend over backwards to try and incentivise us to not go down that route by offering benefits and stuff. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that a bunch of the ones we do have came about before a lot

Same. I’m also kind of tired of Europe. Egypt might have been fun but deserts are boring and it seemed like an environment that would waste a lot of the climbing mechanics without having a lot of contrived level design elements (like random cliffs and similar) to make up for it.

I’m not a fan of having loot and
