Not crazy enough, but the graffiti pic kind of works. I’ll let it slide though because the costume and props are on point.

Good point about the smudging. I suppose it just takes some getting used to. Maybe I should give it another try. I know I always seem to spend more time drawing than I realize. If it’ll help save my wrists then maybe it’s worth dealing with the initial awkwardness.

Why is everyone’s desk always slanted? I hate drawing like that. Is it just easier on your wrists during a long session or something?

I can respect this. My biggest worry is that the level design will suffer from this new gameplay shift. GOW’s level design was always amazing. They did insane stuff. I don’t want this to just be a third person corridor kind of game. Would be a shame.

This is adorable and I want it.

I’m immune to spoilers. For me, it’s all about context.

For example, I knew about Aerith when I played FF7, I even knew when, and how, but when I got to that part I still had the emotional impact because I was missing everything else that made and led up to that scene that made it such a compelling moment. After that

This just isn’t God of War anymore. It looks amazing and like it can be fun in it’s own way, but the gameplay isn’t there. I’m not saying it’s bad, I’m just saying that this game doesn’t look like it was designed to be a spectacle fighter. The camera’s in too close, the level design isn’t as inspired, and the crazy

Should be interesting at least.

Not really a fan of the over the shoulder camera. Doesn’t feel like a God of War game anymore with that perspective. It’s probably fine for an action/adventure style game but GOW was always more like DMC or Bayonetta and playing those games with this camera doesn’t really work.

Guess I’ll wait on passing judgement,

I need this in my life.

I agree. These days though it seems like angry anime girls punch with enough force to blast people into the sky team rocket style. I guess the hammers got phased out.

Still, it’ll always be called Hammer Space to me.

That “Don’t pay the Ferryman” midi....My god XD

I love turn based strategy, but Paradox is great at making the kind of strategy games I want, but making them so impossible to play that I can’t get into them.

I don’t feel like a tutorial would be enough. I need an assistant or a teacher to mentor me in the ways of Paradox before I can have a hope of figuring any of

I like stealth in gaming, but I feel like usually it’s not implemented very well into most games.

When you have a stealth section in a game that’s been something else up to that point it’s usually frustrating because you don’t have all the tools and signals you need to make stealth feel rewarding. Everything’s kind of

I love the look of the show mostly. Something about the art style makes me think of older anime. I can’t really explain it very well without pausing on certain frames and going into rambling lecture mode but it’s interesting.

Show feels a bit rushed too. I guess maybe that’s a weakness of the writing but I’m still

Emi Evans did a great job on this OST. I read that the vocals for the Song of the Ancients track are all from a completely fictional language, but I’m not sure about the other songs in the OST. From what I read, it seems like they tried to draw inspiration from a bunch of different languages and musical styles so

Think it’s the Hills of Radiant Winds for me. I love the variations of it too (Lost Forest and City of Commerce in particular).

The Wretched Automatons is interesting too. There’s just so much variation in the soundtrack that it’s kinda hard to single out a favorite song for me. I lost all of it.

Yep. Context is also important here. Pretty sure Kazuma chose to bring Aqua because:

1) she was treating him like dirt and making fun of him the whole time so he drug her along for petty revenge

2) he thought her goddess powers would actually be useful for defeating the demon king

Oddly enough 2 seems to be somewhat true

I think one of the reasons I loved this show is because Kazuma is a terrible person. Not evil or anything, just kinda selfish and greedy maybe. He’s terrible in an amusing way, not a cruel one.
