Can we math before we panic?

HOLY CRAP! I paid $2.15 just Wednesday here in Houston (well, the ‘burbs, but still).  And I drive a Prius, so that lasts me about 2 weeks with 60 mile a day round trips to work.  I literally spend less than $40 a month on gas, in the 4th largest city, driving about 1200 miles a month. GOD I love Texas.

To be fair the AWD limited model with leather as pictured above is $47.5k, not $31k.

It is the same with a mechanical system. A direct throttle connection can wear through. Brake lines corrode away. Vacuum leaks occur. Every system has its weak point.

It’s stunning, but I also really admire what they did with the new Prius. From every angle it looks insane, futuristic, and inventive. It’s anything but agreeable and bland, I really admire how they took advantage of their captive market.

Rust is not a patina, its a cancer far as I am concerned. You don't need to fix every single tiny thing on the finish, trim etc... but good lord people if its rusty then it needs a paint job.
